287 miles today, all through the mountains. 255K miles on a '86 GL wagon, 4wd, 5 spd, carbed [sorry GD]. 107 degrees out with 3% humidity. I drove it like it was 107 too. 65mph was pretty much max. That would be max on these roads on a cool day as well though.

30MPG!!!!

30 mpg... My car is a piece of turd. It gets 20-22 and thats if i drive like grandma!!!! way to go subie

Turbo's are not known for their mileage. I get about 19 in town on my SS. About 25 on the freeway.

Even the brand new STi's are rated at 17 in the city

Keeping your foot out if is what saves gas :-p

Yeah - on a big turbo (for the engine size) you can do that. With the VF11 on the 22T it spools if a fly lands on your foot. Hell the thing will spool all by itself when the cruise control starts pulling a hill

31.5 MPG, in my 84 Brat, 288K miles on carbed engine, new 5 sp. conversion.

Did about 700 miles total to WCSS and ocean trek, cost me about $90 in gas for the trip.

Yes, it is good...
