Hey all, new to the forum, great place, been into the Roo's for years, my grandpa got me into them when i was knee high to a grasshopper.

got a 1986 Subaru GL wagon, 4X4, EA82, 5sp, all power options.

ive already put on a custom turbo off a 84's Z32 300zx, and looking for some peugeot wheels now, tinting the windows soon, and building a custom stereo, along with building some custom suspension parts, so if ya got any ideas please toss em out there.

thanks, i paid $950 for it, the interior needed to be steam cleaned because it had like greask on the passenger seat, and needed to be vacumed because they owned a dog that shed BAD.

but other then that and changing the oil because it had like over 5 qt.'s in it its a great car.

here for pictures, it was a 40hp gain on the 300ZX but i dunno on my carbed roo, ill find out later, it seems to pull a little harder, but i cant really tell because i have a suspended lisence so i can drive on public roads.

well its what datsun called a turbo, i dont really consider it a turbo because it doesn;t recitulate the exhaust gases like a normal turbo, its more of a supercharger but on a much smaller scale, since it just has a little electrical powered turbine.

all i did was get my stock intake ducting and used the lower peace, it fits right on the outlet of the "turbo", then just built a bracket out of sheet metal until i get back to school from our snow. and just wired it on with the ignition power.

i talked my dad into letting me drive it again tonight, but this time in the snow, last time was after the oil change to see if it ran better, (had lisence, but is now suspended for 6 months, only about 3 more to go) i put it in 4LO and it seems to pull harder then it did before. had my dad ride with me and i took him down the cultasac and back up, ginglrley shifted into second and was powersliding it up the street, kicking up sooo much snow, 4wd cars are fun.

later i plan on doing it right with a EJ22T swap.

It's an electric turbo.... is that a factory part for the Nissan? 40 HP seems...... dubious at best - but if it's factory?!?! More information is needed....
