I tried a search so please redirect me to a link if this has already been posted but how do i find out what my gear ratio is in my differential? Is there a code on the door or in the vin i can look up or is it stamped on the differential housing?? thanks

And if the sticker is gone, you can try this method which works for me of count turns.

if its not a turbo than its 3.90 diff. If its a turbo than its 3.70

if its not a turbo than its 3.90 diff. If its a turbo than its 3.70

Wish it was that simple here in Australia... It was completely random and not model based. :-\

or it could be another black sheep, similar as used in ea71 powered gen2 wagon, built 11/79 approx. :rolleyes:
