Hit and Run Today! (EA82 Fender?)

Featured Replies

Well, I've finally been in my first accident.

Driving down Pearl St. in Tacoma, some idiot in a Riced Out Gray Honda Accord, slammed on his brakes and spun into me, causing me to spin out. Fortunately, I corrected it so I didn't hit anyone or anything else, but I ended up backwards on Pearl St.

The idiot ran after he got traction back, I tried to find out where he went, but it was no good.

Pulled into the parking lot and checked it out. My drivers side front fender and bumper were hit. I have a few scratches on the bumper, and my fender is bent in. But no other damage. Had the alignment looked at and it was fine.

I'm still pretty ticked off at this point.

But, I'm going to need a new fender, although not immediately.

It's a 1989.5 RX, Black w/ gold stripes.

Also, if anyone see's a 92-95 Gray Honda Accord sedan with a roof rack, and super tiny chrome exhaust tip with right rear fender/door damage driving around in the North End, post up on here would ya please?

I hate hit and runs.

Keji, you can use any EA82 coupe fender, the trim clips out of them after you pull the fender.

I have a black bumper that was on my black RX sitting in my garage but it doesn't have the gold stripe in it. It had been replaced when mine was in a front end wreck.

My bumper only has a couple of scratches, so it I don't intend on replacing it. I'll just buff it out before it goes to paint.

As for the fender, the trim pieces aren't damaged, but the metal is crumpled a bit.

So Sad to Read That! ... But the important thing is that you Didn`t get Hurt, Your Subie will be Nice Again! :)

I Hate Hit-and-Runs Too! ... Did you tell about that Accident to the Police?

Sorry for your loss, but I'm glad to hear you and the car are relatively okay.

You might consider filing a Police Report just for grins. You might run across this guy again and it might be satisfying to nail him for the hit and run. Not likely he has insurance.
