Yeah, I saw that you guys had issues with the block in the rear, so I used flat bar instead. I still want to run a brace across the face of the flat bar. But it will be fine for now. I can't wait to g

He doesn't need to drop the engine crossmember.

If you do not know the specifics of this lift; please don't waste your time, and the OPs by responding. Thank you.

ya i know abought the lift no need to bash lift is in thanck you to the person how hellped my other car is also liffted with the same lift !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could you use these blocks to make a 4 inch lift? If you can what all would i have to lower?

You need to READ all of the information already provided. There is a wealth of it in all of the stickys.

Long story short/simple answer:

NO. You can't do a 4" lift on just the struts. You need to drop crossmembers if you go 4".

For all of that information, I'll leave you to research the countless other threads answering those questions.

So just read through this entire thing, no one did it with a g2, so i'm assuming it doesn't work? And yeah, daily driver 2002 OBW VDC H6... was planing on getting highguy lifts... but gloyale is MIA since the 15th...

3" is going to be hard on those axles, its worth a try though......:)

Jeff

Ohh ya. Found that one out first hand. Made it about a block before the constant chatter. Popped it in 4wheel and it went away mostly. PO replaced the rear cv's but not the front. Any advice on the best off road axle for your buck?

can you do the torsion bar in an e82? got the front blocks made but dont have any idea how to bend 3/8 steel at a 45* angle

nvm but anyone know how the hell you bend 3/8" steel?

a large adjustable wrench and an oxyacetylene torch.

Front or rear? Front blocks need to be at a 15* angle pushing the strut inwards towards the engine. rear straps need to be at a 45* angle - dropping the crossmembers about an inch is a good idea too if you dont want your axles to start spewin out grease

The front ones. The rear looks fine the way it is, I just can't figure out why my front tires are leaning out at the top. He cut the blocks at 15* and they are pushing the tops of the struts inward. The 2" block has the holes offset correctly, I believe. Could not having dropped the crossmember cause this?

This is loyale90

not sure maybe the angle of the axle made a little bit of difference. not having dropped the crossmembers ate my axles its really easy to do and made the axles ALOT less stressed.

Have you moved or rolled the car? that will make it settle down if you do that, other wise it will look like this \--/
