EA81/Weber mpg

Featured Replies

I'm still running the Hitachi carb and get 27-29 mpg.

How much can I expect from the Weber setup?

my brat gets about 21 mpg with weber and bigger tires.... but that doesnt help you haha..... i believe befor i put the bigger tires i was getting around 25-26 mpg mixed driving

Back when Wagonpowaa owned my BRAT, he could get almost 30 MPG with his Hitachi. With the Weber he was a couple MPG down, but not much. This is on a stock Gen 1 BRAT.

Im getting about the same as a hitachi. Most on the board find they stay about the same +/- a couple mpg.

It depends how you drive it. If you can keep your lead foot controlled enough to never open the secondary, you should be able to get over 30 mpg. If the secondary opens up on a regular basis 25 mpg is about normal.

what he said^^^^^....i can never keep my foot out of it,and averaged25 with bigger tires....cheers, brain
