Found a dr 5 spd in a junkyard, but they want $450 for it... seems a little high to me, what do other people think it's worth?

I would agree... $50 (plus or minus $50) is generally the going rate around here (so free if you get lucky to 100 maybe if you paid a bit too much)

Yeah, a touch high. I sold one with everything to install it in an EA81 car, including a fully resealed EA81 that had been torn down to nothing, cleaned, and inspected for $400. Post a want ad, see if someone will meet up with you.
