Aftermarket Fuel pump's that help Weber's

Featured Replies

Well... the frikken Wagon died again last night on my way home from work. Definatly a fuel problem. Not sure if its the Carb or the Fuel pump.... so im replacing both. Ive already decided to get a Weber, so that will be on order very soon. But, i need to get a fuel pump ASAP, so i'd like to get one that will keep my weber happy.

What is the standard PSI for EA81 fuel pumps?? Anyone know? And what would be a good PSI to keep the weber running at peak performance?

-Brian

the ea81 fuel pump is rated at 1.35-2.06psi at 7.4 gallons/hr

Weber makes a fuel pump P/N#: 99009-131

6 PSI, 25GPH. Requires pressure regulator. (of course it does)

They make other models of fuel pumps, but this is the most reasonable one for our engines.

That sounds like a sweet deal. Is there a part number or something I can use to buy it locally? Cant really wait for S&H.

Do they require a pressure regulator?

Some of us with Webers have been lucky and just slapped it on and hit the road.

Some of us with Webers (like me) have had to fiddle, cajole, sweet-talk, threaten, coerse(sp), rant, rave, cuss, swear, break out the dyamite, and the AK-47's.

Some have to run a FPR (me), some don't. No clue as to why though, other than individual vehicles state of being.

But I do love my Weber!!!!!!!
