it has started thanks Soobiedoo

might call this one "the Red Barron"

got the car in the shop its my original Red one and all the doors fenders hood and glass removed looks like its going to get a 4" lift , wondering how short I should go on the wheelbase, what do you guys think?

Gonna be sweet. :)

May I suggest a relocation of the radiator for better approach angle?

Just figuring if you are gonna do all that may as well address one of the biggest Soob flaws for wheeling. (though with the lift and swampers it gets helped out alot)

Alot on my plate these days but if I was closer I'd be down to lend a hand here and there. I'll just have to watch though.

leave it as a 4-seater... and leave just enough in the back to hang mud flaps and a bumper...

You could put a brat jumpseat in place of the rear to help lighten.

good idea, and raise it up a little so the passengers get a good view...

Looks good, Scott...but isn't that bottom cut a little crooked

It'll look great with the tailgate on there!

I tried out that red paint you brought , its almost the same will be good for the cut edges and weldsm I decided to use the stock front door , it will be gutted and top trimmed down so basically just a skin with hinges and latch

Cool man. This is what i want to do next, once the sedamn is done.
