I was testing out the JDM headlights i used a 3 up rebel 4500K LED's driven at 700 mA using a signal relay in order to get my high brightness when the headlight is on and turn signal is triggered.
I found a resistor which would look good for a parking light brightness, stock RHD projectors were taken out and I put in FX-R projectors in.. I just need the Denso ballast next to finally get everything done.
I'm sure most everyone know I just did the transmission last week while I did that I took the clutch off and inspected it and it looked very good, no hot spots or anything.
In Aug the car is getting painted all black from it's current dark blue/grey color.

I did powder coat the rear hats to the same color of my wheels I'm going to put on late this month.
I ordered (finally) a new center pipe since when I took of the stock when doing the transmission it fell apart almost instant because of the rust...

I also ordered some new heater core hoses because the stock one at least one of them I saw spring a pin hole size leak when I went to remove the starter to do the contacts and that's when I spotted.
This is planned for later in the week

Yesterday I finally passed 300 miles from the tank with a mix of highway/city driving

It's going to help with those people I encounter on the road going to work in the morning with badly aimed headlights.
I forgot to post the video
Finally got around to powder coating the front rotor hats tonight so that's all done.

Don't think I will keep the bulbs I have in it now.. I think the bulb made a bad connection and ended up arcing 23 kV at the ring terminal..
Nevertheless warmup is like 6 seconds I just need to mark and level outside when it stops raining..
A little video tonight!

End of the week I have to get the pipe for the exhaust bent into shape, I just now noticed I don't know if I have enough powder to shoot 4 calipers.. or let alone 2.. I don't know if I want to use the HF powder because the UV I hear makes it turn chalky looking after exposed to the sun over some set amount of weeks.

I put on the resonator now so it's a bit better now but the friken exhaust studs.. the bolts I got at the home depot today are too long I think I picked up 30 mm it's just too long.. So unable to put the new gaskets on because that leak is so loud..
Should be doing the dimming rear view mirror today, I ordered a replacement button from the chevy dealer which should of been in Monday however when I called they said they had a computer problem on Friday.
I did a quick test with my retro HID headlights with LED turn signals I have to wrap the wires for the turn signals because I don't want it to rub on any body panels.
btw that bosal pipe was for my 2.2 Legacy wagon but for some reason none of the gaskets really fit it right, being cheap I ended up shaving the whole inside of the gasket so it would fit over the pipe.. and that's a dealer gasket...
So thinking hmm let me try another and sure enough the new gasket same thing.. It's like the pipe is too thick for any donut gasket.

So also with the headlights I need a Tridon EP34 because I had the hyperflash but now it's back to normal.. I think the Stock Subaru is 60 fps but the new one is 80 fps, so a little faster but still looks normal but I prefer the flash flash anyways.

Now later today I will cut into the body inside to fix that blasted broken nut for the tranny crossmember!

I used the extension to get to the bolt on the transmission on the drivers side lower one.
Oh yeah, that one is a PITA.

Looking at getting these General Altimax Arctic, also I have to strip the wheels on the car now and powder coat those since they are looking pretty rough now, but since they will be winter wheels it does not need to be anything crazy.

Fuel sender came.. looks like they made a mistake and sent it UPS when I asked for customer pickup.. Oh well no charge.. I never knew this stuff was this color when new...

meanwhile I was running back and forth to get my tires taken off so I could strip and power coat them.. I had planned to do this over early fall but I had other things to take care of.

About 10" or so.. but this one area I went to had drifts up to a foot at least, it was at a school and unplowed and I wanted to see if I could make it.. had to keep your momentum going and I heard them tell me "Oh look he's going to get stuck" I never did but this Nissan SUV did.
