scoobyclimbs Posted June 10, 2007 Author Share Posted June 10, 2007 here's some update on my progress...I pulled the 4EAT out and dissasembled the f. diff and replaced the pinion gear/bearing (wasted). Also the ring gear...I didn't like the pitting I found on the spider gears so I'm replacing those too. I went down to Rallitek's new shop(nice facility) and met Marc....kewl guy. Picked up a trans mount bushing insert. for $29.00 ...might as well upgrade while it's out. Here's few pics before the camera batt. died. Note: the wasted pinon gear! scoobyclimbs Posted June 15, 2007 Author Share Posted June 15, 2007 Yeppers! I'm back on the road....Wahoo! she drives like new... I did a complete rebuild of the front differential and dialed it in. I could only work on it after work for a few hours here and there. It was actually a fairly easy job...just time consuming...(getting parts....I purchased the only carrier(spider) gears in town....no one had them...).
