  1. So Matt, how's the ankle doing? Also did the material come in yet? Sorry.....just anxious.

  3. I'm reluctant to "jump ship" here since I made a commitment to the original poster until I hear from him. Call me crazy, but I'd like to honor my acceptance of the original deal until I hear it from matts87glsedan.
  4. If it's a money/quantity issue, I'd consider ordering another set of four if we can combine the shipping costs. I wonder if the Canadian postal service has such a thing as our flat rate shipping boxes since shipping almost doubles the cost of getting them. I'm hoping this Friday will get this solution into reality.
  5. If you weren't here you missed a pretty significant event. Great venue. large field allowed a course of almost one full mile! Good dirt with no rock-a-dillos lurking in the sod. FTD in the neighborhood of 2:35! Sadly, a low turn out but those who were there had a ball. Hopefully they can do another one or two before year-end! Thanks to Steve, the landowner and all those whose hard work made this possible.
  6. Not that I'm in any hurry for this, but have you been able to make the first batch yet? If you're waiting for a payment, let me know.

  8. I'm a little late to the party but I have one piece of advice. One inner boot sits right over the catalytic converter and the heat causes that boot to fail more often than the others. I found by fabbing a heat shield to direct more air over that boot and carry away the heat from the CC helped a lot on my '84 Brat. Also if the fuel mixture is too rich the CC will run hotter than normal since it needs to burn off the unburned hydrocarbons. Best fix there is to install a weber two barrel downdraft carb where you have better control over the fuel mixture than with the original Hitachi carb.
  9. Not worried about the additional cost. I still think this is more than fair and just what I've been looking for. However, based on your comments about the ease of mounting I think I'll save the postage and and just order the one pair of adaptors. Drop me a a PM with the final cost including shipping and mounting bolts and how you wish to be paid (paypal, int'l money order, check, credit card). I guess I can find the studs (if not on ebay, at the local junkyard) and I'll send you my shipping address by PM or snailmail or whatever.

  11. My son has a house in Shoreline and is looking for a renter. If you're still looking drop me a PM with phone number (I still have your 509 number in my cell). PM sent.
  12. I replied on your non-vendor post earlier, but I could amend that here. You're far enough from the Seattle area to discourage me from driving out unless I decide to spend a week travelling out and back (with a few days to enjoy Lumby). But postal service out and back for two is not prohibitive. Here's what I propose (when you're ready to do the production run): I can send you two gen2 Brat hubs; you send me two "adapted" hubs back. I'd be glad to pay for the extra studs as needed, labor to assemble them, and postage to get them back to me. I could send money up front or however you want to arrange payment. They look like a fine product and I promise not to take my Brat over 80 mph (lol). I would have taken 4 except I've already done the rear wheels using XT6 parts. Sometime in the future, I might consider a set of four in steel to install on our "rallybrat" for competition use.
  13. So when will you be in production on these? I have been looking for someone to do this for a while. Put me down for 2 (since I already did the rear wheels on the brat using XT6 parts). Just one question (maybe stupid but I have to ask) will the adapters fit over the raised ridges that center the wheels on the original gen2 Brat hubs? Duplicate PM sent since I'm computer challenged and may not be able to find this thread again.
  14. Recently posted comments from a checkout crew member (great photos, Eric): Just over a week ago I had the pleasure of driving the No Alibi 2013 route to evaluate it for suitability and overall awesomeness. This is the fourteenth No Alibi that I've had a part in and between layouts and checkouts, pacing and checkpointing over the years I have probably driven more than 50 No Alibi's. It was with delight that I discovered that the 2013 No Alibi team has assembled a route that will easily succeed in bringing smiles to faces. There were lots of my favorite roads and some charming new ones that have been on the wish list for a number of years. In addition to carving the hills and dales of wrinkly southeastern Washington the route also hits some higher elevations providing some forest road miles. At any rate, I'd been wondering why there are not already 40 entries but I realized that I had not sent this reassuring email and shared with you a photo teaser of the perfectly perfect roads that are waiting for you this year. Send your entries in today. http://www.flickr.com/photos/46145831@N00/sets/72157633471095933/ http://www.RainierAutoSports.com/events/NoAlibi/ P.S. remember that pesky Renee and Marinus will not be competing, nor will No Alibi veterans Satch and Russ so there's top trophy positions open for YOU! Come get 'em. Eric

  17. If you enjoyed the recent ORG RX, come on out for No Alibi TSD rally. Two days and about 500 miles of touring gravel roads. See some of the best smooth, scenic roads in eastern Washington and adjoining states. Starts and finishes in the Tri-Cities area. Great time and lots of practice driving on dirt. Not a car breaker and all you need is a reliable car and a companion to sit in the right hand seat. Check out http://www.rainierautosports.com/events/2013/noalibi/default.htm for more information.
  18. Found this in my mailbox recently: May 12th RallyCross at the English Gravel pit: The driveway for the site is at 18208 SE 1st Vancouver, WA 98684. 19. I'm trying to adjust the schedule to go down for a few days. I usually work service if I can.
  20. What's odd about this is that it runs from Friday through the weekend and into Monday. Never been a 4 day event in the past. It would be nice to see the details off FB for us luddites who don't do FB.
  21. I saw a post elsewhere that WCSS15 will be in Longview, WA on Sept. 6-9. I thought I'd find confirmation here, but nothing. Any truth to this?
  22. The course is hard on the car. If you check the results (already posted) you can see that there was a bit of attrition. Results at http://oregonrally.com/RallyCross
