ok, explain to me what "lets just say" means. and do you have pics from the out side/ inside how it looks.... and why is your car not running because of your snorkel? i have had some pretty creative ideas on how i would want to do this.....
  5. yeah sick wheels dude....where did you get them? the rims. if you have time to find me a link that would be cool....thanks dude:grin:

wow thats pretty cool....i want to build one when i get my weber.......i had the idea( i might sound stupid) i wanted to do duel snorkels.....just split it after its out the carb and then have it go out each fender and yeah. something like that. is that stupid or cool? and wouldnt i increase air intake?

i was scanning the weber carbs site and i saw they sell a snorkel adapter......anyone every done it?
  9. sorry to butt in on the thread but i need new heads in the near future and i was wondering what should i do....i want power....but i need them cheap....i have an '81 ea81 engine w/ 125k on it....can i use those heads?
  10. yeah so i got to hand it to Pk he makes a really sturdy sable lift.....i actually own the first lift of his ever made (2 in ea81 and yes i do own the original pk wagon) and its really good. it gives you just a little bit of clearence to put the tires on that you want, before the lift it was pushing it. way to go dude:headbang:
  11. yeah i would definalty go with the Ea82 d/r 5sp.....my cousin (jibs) did the swap on his brat and the thing goes like a champ. road trips are great in it because you can just cruise without revving the hell out of your engine. and i believe it helped his gas milage too....just check in with jerry (bratsRus1) and he should square you away with a kit
  12. now when you say bed carpet...do you mean like one of theose leather taunoe(Tah-no) covers?
  13. he might want to consider having some custom axles made....big big axles and tough as $H*T too.....those little soobie axles have to push a lot of tire....A LOT:grin: :headbang:
  14. i can offically say pants have been wetted....that thing is freakin huge!!!!!! can wait to see it in action
  15. yes this has been posted........SERVERAL TIMES....i was expecting someone else to say this but i think i have to now....STOP POSTING THIS!!!! this was even posted twice last week at the same freaking time.....maybe we should make another forum to talk about this freaking brat!!!!!
  16. well ill see what i can do to get it in there....i have 2 speedo cables and i choose the longer one to do it
  17. i have the same wheels on my wagon lol but i havent had enough mud to make it dirty
  18. well i think i know the problem.....the nut tightens the cable down into the tranny is stripping so i cant tighten it down enough for the rectangle end to fit into the hole.......does anybody have the whole entire casing with both ends that plug into tranny/cluster they can sell?
  19. i have the htkysa and thats the same thing it told me too...but thats why i way confused Nv said it should just pull free...maybe in the book hes making a reference to gen 1's
  20. it only went to full once and it did that over night when it was shut off....i think it might me the unit too....but when it shows me losing fuel i cn see the guage going down...and its a right reading
  21. ok.....yeah im certain its the speedo cable cuz when i unsrewed the other end(tranny) the cable just pulled all the way threw the casing....so it wasnt ever plugged in on the other end
  22. well i have noticed that my fuel is disappearing....i cant think what it could be......lets say i have a quarter tank.... i drive for like 20 miles and then i have 1/8th all of the sudden. i parked the car other day (half tank) and it sat over night and i started it up the next morning and it had a quarter tank...!? then sometimes ill shut it off at quarter tank and before i turn the key the next morning it says i almost have a full tank? and then it will drop down lower than it was the morning...and stay there and keep that reading.....there are 3 possibilities i can think of......#1 the sending unit is crap. #2 u guys know ive been having carb problems like mad(tryin to save up for a weber) so it could just be the crappy carb.. #3 i have a fuel leak somewhere, which i dont think is the case because there are no fuel drippings anywhere in the driveway, behind me in a trail,or where ever i park.....help is appreciated...thanks in advance -D:dead:
  23. it just unplugs? i hope me and u r on the same page....cuz im talking about the casing like thing in the back of the cluster not the actual speedo cable
