my Brat is almst all packed up, let me tell you 4 pugs with tires, and a 5th bare rim, and a bumper, pretty much takes up the whole bed area, especially since i put back in the jumpseats after moving my mower. supposed to have a friend follow me up tonight and campout. she wants a bonfire... Dennis is showing up too. In fact, he is trying to locate a belt for my mower since i messed the belt up sliding the mower off my Brat. -
kinda right on the manual button, when you press it in, the instrument cluster bottom row will light in green saying manual when its on manual, the light will be off on the cluster when its off. Like said, its for winter traction. If its on manual mode, when starting out from a dead stop, it will actually not engage first gear, it will start in second gear, less torque less chance of wheel spin. Also, when its engaged, t will not allow for torque converter lockup in the 4th gear overdrive. Its the TC lockup at higher speeds on ice that causes cars to spin out, so when its manual mode, there is less chance of spinning out when a ice patch is encountered because the tranny is not locked mode..

Red Brat not ready....well guess the big old truck will do its job. I got my Rad hose replaced on sunday. noticed my heater hose was rubbing on the steering joint so that got replaced last night. I have to go and pick up a riding mower tonight in Tama, in the BRAT. I hope it fits in the BRAT somehow.....lol wish me luck. and hope the Brat can carry that extra weight without rub issues. Also, the third eye installed and the 85 grill has been trimmed to fit the center light. did not have time to hook it up. oh boy what a fun weekend in the rain this will be. Maybe i better put n my brat hat too, although my tent should do okay with rainfly. -
well, the Geo Prism was free, but it ate your battery. total cost, 79.99 it probaby fried your battery with a bad alternator or something of the sort.

fun times. only 3 lugnuts on the wheel tho?

new plugs are installed, and it started right up, minus any radiator. Just orderd a radiatorbarn.com radiator Junkyard search today for hood and fender and headlights turned up nothing. Went to 4 junkyards. I found yet another 5spd dual range tranny but did not take time to get it. Just got done installed my center cyclops light on the Brat, wiring it tomorrow. bust weekend so far.

where is ELH? My parts Brat has good exhaust.

just got back from working on the bambi hit outback of my brothers compression checked about 175 ish on all 4. looking good. I had to order in the new spark plugs today and they arrive in the morning, but according to the compression, should be fine. Starting off early Saturday, picking up the plugs and then off to check on a green fender, and the rest of the list. Pulled off the driver fender tonight, for practice if we find a good junkyarder. long parts list, but at least the engine should be good. yaya Have parts to pull off my parts Brat too, and well, lots more to do.

Call me bad luck Bobby today

some one could have taken my parts Brat a week ago, but its lacking too many parts now, including the steering wheel sector, ignition, and tailights. lol you could hang on to the shifter i suppose, lol -
apparently when the rebuilder car my brother has just acquired hit the deer, the idler pulley brakcet, and fan shrouds cause the T belt to jump. the T belt is not damaged, its intact. The covers were slightly cracked. engine is DOHC EJ25 How many here think that the valves will be bent on the side that looks out of alignment? the timing will be reset to correct tonight, and then we will run a compression check, so I will know soon, but how many here think the valves are gonna be trashed on the side that is not lined up? if the compression check shows okay, the plugs will go bac in and will try to run it. the car had been run at the auction, I myself did not hear it, but belts were squeeling and rubbing, and i guess it had a miss. car histrry is it has 28,000 miles on it so that means try and save it bh
