  1. Keep in mind how the numbers are shrinking but popularity is not. You would do yourself good to keep certain parts for your keeper. But selling an extra shell I can see. Storage can be a pain sometimes. Rear jump seats in nice shape sell for over $150 and more with working seatbelts. I once shipped a gen II brat topper from CT to CO so there's always a buyer out there.
  2. notice how I put "drivesubies" next to his name.....try that. He's on eBay as "dannybreadman"
  3. Pre-79 you normally got one. I've seen a few where the owners insist it always had two so maybe as an option you could get the passenger side - pre 1979. In 79 they definitely outfitted many Brats and 4WD Wagons with the passenger side mirror. I think in some states it became mandatory around that year. Danny W. - drivesubies - should have those new whenever he gets around to digging them out. I have maybe one or two new in my stash but those are way buried right now and one goes to my wagon. If Danny can't come through just be patient and watch eBay.
  4. Yeah , I hope the next guy who owns it shares some pics. I should have saved the shots the seller had up on the listing. It was beyond factory. But like I said I think that's in this case , a GOOD thing..
  5. Search eBay and check the menu on the left for "Completed Items". Next time I log in there I'll grab it if someone else doesn't get it first.
  6. Just shy of $13k. She's a beauty although there's a few points that look non stock. But all in all I think it was one of the finest I've seen. Nothing wrong with an over-resto in this case. I'm curious what you guys saw because I didn't look it over with a zoom.
  7. Heater cores also work from a Dodge Colt, Get a heater cock too , there's one on eBay now. What color interior is yours again? I have some remote covers for the inner handles and emblems too but buried away. I also have a front end protector, Hoping to get one more shot at storage before the real winter kicks in. I'll do my best but for sure take what comes along first if you are workong on this vehicle through winter.
  8. Yeah, we in the rust zones have to "import" ours from dreaded areas like California and Oregon. Lol
  9. Check Vintage Subaru Restoration - Subaru3's website for correct application , but I 'm sure you cab use a particular era of the VW Beetle rear window seal. I'm pretty sure Todd recommends the California style where you won't need to worry about the chrome plastic inserts. Skyway - what color interior?
  10. Is that a stock AM/FM radio? If the push tabs are shot I'll pass , otherwise I'll offer $25 plus shipping if you're sure it works,
  11. No sweat , just having fun Cheers ! Old school rules. Wayne , real name is Paul. Board name - moosens. But calling me psychotic kind of works too .... I should have an extra sweephand clock when I dig out that special box .... should anyone need one.
  12. Not young here. Along these lines ... Ever notice that maybe your old car is the only one in a parking lot full of vehicles that still has an antenae? Roof racks also on decline. And that's my '92 I'm talking about , not just the '78. Sweep hand , old school cool ! Kiss my !!! Cheers
  13. Stage one or two? Body parts? Interior? Mechanicals? Colors in and out , if required? Plenty of good used from various members here. Some new old stock if you want as well. Going to make it a cheap and effective driver or hell bent on a showroom look? Good luck. I've got some stuff. We'll try to help you out. Cheers!
  14. Petey!! Long time .... !! I'm in my phone now and can't see a PM deal. I'll get back to you real soon. Thanks !
  15. No visible reason why it won't run with the carb freshened up , fresh fuel , and the disty can be found on eBay or through Danny - drivesubies on our board here. Enjoy !!!
  16. I'm guessing it was a whopping $6.52 or there about. Somewhere in my heap of nomenclature is a 1979 dealer price list. I think the early ones show the Citizen name and later don't. What year you reckon that one to be?
  17. On eBay now. You can find those plenty cheap enough. As I recall , you want some heat along to assist getting the old one out , like a propane torch. You can do it.
  18. The round door for the square vehicle. Square for the rounded. Makes perfect sense.
  19. There is a related thread to the pedal box. It's been showing up in a large percentage of these cars lately. Subaru3 might have a pedal box to sell. Let us see what you do to improve it. Thanks and good luck. Worn through ??? Yikes !!! Glad it wasn't that!!! Lol
  20. Your fuse might look good but pull it and check the end caps are not loose. My experience.
