Wow,the northeast is really perculating.....World Vintage Subaru Meet,Pine Barrens Meet 'n Off Roading,Carlisle,and now your event..... Carlisle is nice to see all sorts of other cars. Pine Barrens is a fun trail riding day with minimal danger.We've had a really great bunch of people there every time. But,the event not to be missed is the World Vintage Subaru Meet.

OK,get ready all you vintage Subaru owners,your time to meet has come! To be held just up the road from the land of P.T.Barnum.The second "Greatest Show On Earth." Free admission!! Held on the rented grounds of Industrial Park North in scenic Milford Connecticut Super easy to get to,just off of exit 40 of I-95 in either direction. Incase you haven't noticed,I'm consolidating all my Subaru stock from 1972-1989.***I'll be giving many items away to the true vintage owners.*** Stop by and see the '73! I'll also have my '78 there.I'm sure there'll be at least one other car of mine there too. Tentative date:Saturday April 23rd,2005 Sorry for the short notice but I think we all understand this is just an attempt at getting people together and getting some useable items into the hands of folks that can really use them. If you can't make it I understand and we'll see you down the road. All Subarus and all members and owners welcome.

THere's a guy local to me who has three '74 Subarus sitting in his backyard.I'll see what's worth picking at in a few weeks.I was there twice already but the guy is old and the second time I was there he wouldn't let me back there.Weird,since he called me first,and the first visit was very cool. But,the third time I went back,nobody was home so I wandered back,just to make sure they're still there. I'll make a list of what's useable when I get my hands on them. Good luck with the DL. In this isssue it appears to have a story on the Japanese cars at Carlisle,which is a national show here in the States. Sorry to hear about the damage.Losers! Yes,the GSR is way too special to those who have some tie to the early years of Subaru. Dual carb'd 1400 w/93 hp at around 4800rpm(??) 10:1 pistons and a good amount more lobe to the cam.Sure they aren't worth what the Z cars of the early 70's are but to us they're worth dumping $2-3,000 USD's into them. My '73 Coupe will be about as close to the GSR as you're likely to find here in the USA.Except we got the lesser powered EA62

If it's a large diameter hose it probably goes to the "trombone" pipe at the top of the intermediate pipe (longer mid-pipe) just rear of your tranny.

Your Y pipe should have a small tube rising up from around just before the cat.on the passenger side.One end of the flex tube goes on there...other on the airbox...you know the deal.
