Hang on,Matt forgot about the toll on the Tappan Zee Bridge (rt. 287). You pay coming this way but don't pay going home. But otherwise that's the recommended route.I think the toll is $4.They just went up again. The Brat is plenty driveable, just loud. It'll make MD for sure. It'd be really cool if you can bring a battery so I can keep this one. Saturday is going to be busy at the shop,no moving things since I have invited people to come up and browse,pick,etc....When the smoke clears maybe I'll make a run later at night,we'll see.I wish I had more time for all this stuff. And now the coupe I won.....oh boy,why do I do this to myself?

moosens replied to 86subaru's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
hmmmm, was the same time of year, last year..... Brian, wake up! Winter is over, come out of the cave.... I can't say much,I'm a little behind on some items too. -
I know you can still strip it down at my place. We can leave it there for the landlord to steam over. Seriously,I can probably help you out depending on the situation. I might/should have an engine. What,no phone call??

I need one or two of those style centercaps.Any extras of those anywhere?....anybody else out there see/have any?

moosens replied to tailgatewagon's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Yup,I've seen light blue sedans around that were definitely RX's -

What could be a better tow vehicle than a brat?
moosens replied to 75subie's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Did I ever mention how much I hate you??? Looks great,I'm turning green!!!!! Are you going to stop down next Saturday or what???Come on man, you're holding all those cool, vintage Subarus.Your collection is possibly the best going up here.Bring something down and make me sick,I dare you. -
Moving from one side of town to the other.Stop on by if you can help out.Lots of parts going cheap or free. EA63,71,81,82 parts galore. And a hotel and truck stop across the street. How can you go wrong? 230 Woodmont Rd. Milford,CT unit 41-C,you won't miss it. Anybody know of any free or cheap steel racking or heavy duty shelving near SW CT?

I'm not bullying,I'm asking. And I never said you slandered myself, etc. It was a display,as other folks mentioned it to me before I ever gave an opinion. To me,there was just a little too much sauce on it,and others thought so too.I PM'd you or emailed, whatever it was doesn't matter, asking you to not bring politics into a car show. But when you show up looking like that how am I supposed to take that after imploring you to drop it for the show. We'd had disagreements in the off topic forum and in an effort to show respect for the group I wished that we all just drop the political stances for a weekend.Well, you sure didn't. As for fish stickers and what religion you or anyone else is,you're right,we don't have to look at those or get offended by them. They were far less visible than your effort. If you're going to say it was two bumper stickers and try to make me look bad, that's fine. How many folks have registered in our group? One less, that's for sure. Again,I ask that we leave the bickering to the seldom off topic threads that have passed and attempt to get a group of folks together while not alienating at least half of the group.

Oh boy,is this where we boast about how many rides we *could* bring? Most likely the '78 will be there. Many other possibilities.... Bring Bucky!!!!!!!! Make a window display about his name, etc. and people will get a kick out of it.Have some fun with it."Boxy is Better!", "Looks like a refridgerator because it doesn't want the Honda apetizers to spoil", "Lifter tick to you,Heartbeat of life to me"...like that. Better yet, load it up with some anti-Bush stickers. No Child's Behind Left, and the thousands of others.Just kidding-see below. I'll probably register soon. It's a family event, lets not forget that, please.I'll probably be solo or with my son,we'll see. But,regardless, please refrain from inappropriate language/terminology around the kids, mine or anyone's. I'll ask again, only this year to everyone, not just Scott, who apparently has no repect for my opinion on this matter. Can we please not show off political banners, etc in a manner that causes the whole group to appear to be part of that particular banner,media,etc..?? Last years Bush display was a no class move,Scott.Especially after I PM'd or emailed you personally to keep our political beliefs out of the Carlisle show. If that's what you choose to do then do it,I can't stop you.But you'll not see me in a group that involves you again if that's the case. Agree to no banners,or verbal attacks on anyone in relation to today's politics and I'll be happy to attend along side of you....

Eric, please let me know when is a good time to tall about this little project.I can toss my lifted EA82 thoughts out the window now. I'm going out in a few minutes.Call me if you have time, please.

HAHAHAHA!!!! I have the same cheeseball 70's replacement radio in my '78 4WD wagon... Is your volume knob broken too?Hard to tell in that picture.I'll send to a stock radio if you need one.I also should have an extras console that hasn't been cut. Good luck with it.
-
Russ,I have all versions of pretty much all FSM's from the 70's,just so you know. Your brown fender is leaning against a wall. Cheers
-
So is it GOOD good?... I've got the FSM sitting here with CA and US49States versions,my personal '78 outside.....but Muddy probably hooked ya. John......wheels! nudge nudge......

Looking like April 23rd is the best day.Pickup anytime between now and April 30th will be very welcome.Be sure to call first though to see if it's worth bringing the truck up.I may get one loaned to me from work,or rent one.Infact, maybe even tomorrow I can rent a van or truck and get a lot done. My goal is to make enough room where it doesn't matter what the weather does, there'll be room for a good get together anyways.I really want to try to get a good bunch of folks together who've helped me out, especially this past winter, and get some pizza, beer, etc. for you guys. I'll keep the '73 there untill the end, since there's a weekend at the end of the month it'll be easy enough to take care of then. You guys can pet the coupe and if we're lucky take it around the industrial park for a run.
