  4. so we got the pulley off but the housing on the pump is broken so the piece with the o ring that enters the block is stuck, what the hell am i suppose to do? i cant pull out i dont have anything to hold on to. this is not good, trying to improve the car and this what happens
  5. EA81 engine I'm trying to get my oil pump off to replace it and the alternator pulley is in the way and turning the nut results in the flywheel turning. Any tricks to get this off ???????
  6. last night dug around a little on the car and I think the gaskets on the head are leaking, making things a little louder.

  8. What size is the stock y pipe?
  9. Power seems a bit better up hills and stuff, gas mileage is way better. I am going back down tommorow and we are gonna try to quiet it down a bit. What is the stock y pipe diameter like 1.5"? i think i will just make smaller headers because the ticking is just out rageous. I guess I am not subu guru enough bigger is usually better but in this case no.
  10. Ok so today went my budddies shop an got my exhaust put on- 2" Y headers to magnaflow muffler 2 1/4 out to tail pipe. Sounds sweet when at high Rpms or down shifting but idling and lower rpms it sounds like a frickin jesse james chopper I dunno its a little scary
  11. Well Lewy is sort of coming along, I sold my truck so lewy is my daily driver. Found out i need a new right axle and oil pump. I have installed new stereo and headlights (IPF with yellow ion bulbs) trying to hook up the third eye. Tommorow going to see what kind of custom exhaust my buddy can do for me, thats about everything as of now.
  12. ok there is no vibration on the freeway or any other driving time, just letting off the gas and shifting.

  14. Having some funny noises going on, when letting off the gas or shifting theres a knocking sound then when accelerating it goes away. Also when turning left sounds like when you close a zip tie but constant while turning. Help please
