  1. where at in eugene area?...i need a dual range center console and some non turbo cv's for a D/r swap
  2. unless your doing a lift at the same time....heheh
  3. need anything im in the eugene/springfield area. # is 541-285-7170
  4. i completely agree EJ's dont need o-ring, i sure would like to get ahold of a EJ for my 87 wagon though....
  5. you know you can use stock gaskets with a o-ringed block....just got to be careful that, 1. the o-ring is just large enough to be on the outside of the factory wire compression ring on the gasket. 2. o-ring height and gasket thickness should be a matched set to optimize sealing. 3. carefully align the gaskets under assembly. but dont get me wrong, do this to a EJ and have much better results....and if i had an EJ257 laying around... i would have never been concerned with what can and cant be done to an EA engine...hehe
  6. yea i dont quite understand the reasoning of wanting to try and have someone tool up for some special HG's when you can have the block O-ringed for much cheaper and still be more reliable/stronger then the "special" HG's
  7. any way to still get in on the Christmas buy in price? if so let me know im looking for a high clearance 4" to fit an EA82
  8. wow at that price might as well O-ring the block! it would be way cheaper and hold better IMO
  9. need to remember these #'s are at wheels so gearing and tranny drag may play a part in the equation. the 5252 cross may only be for calculating at the flywheel...but thats a guess on my part.
  10. doh yea....i had it backwards...what was i thinking
  11. also if anyone can or does make adjustable cam gears you can retard the timing for more low end.
  12. i know its not on topic with your post but i was thinking about removing my AC compressor until i found out i could convert it to an AIR compressor....just some food for thought...thats what im going to do with it anyways
  13. used for 1k? i found some good deals for new halteck online then...the E6X new with wires was going for $1,044.
