  1. Oh, Thank You! I´ve Painted both my Wagons by myself! with Just a Li´l Help.
  2. Welcome! I Have a Pair of Pdf´s about the Parts on EA82 Engined Subies ( L Series Subaru, is the Same Car, named in Some Areas as the Subaru "DL" / "GL", "Leone", "Omega", "Loyale"... or even the "isuzu Gemminett II" ) if you Want ´em, just send me your e-mail by a PM.
  3. Well... I Don´t know the Right Answer, but Maybe this Idea can Help You: Try to Find the "Top Dead Point" on Cyl Nº 1, then Sync it with the Dist. I done that with a Large Screwdriver. Just remove the four Sparkplugs and insert the Screwdriver into the Nº 1 Cyl´s Cam, movin´ the Main Pulley to make it Spin, while tryin´ to "Feel" its Top Dead Point (I don´t know if in English can be Translated the Same Idea... but I Hope You´ll Understand) then, when you find the Spark Point on Cyl Nº 1, Move the Dist to that Exact Point, and do a Painted mark on the Correspondent point on the Flywheel. That worked for me, I Hope that idea can Help you. Good Luck!
  4. Why those Things Happens? If that was Due to a Bad Injector, it Really Sucks! :-\ it Means that a Carburetor Never can do that Damage... isn´t it? Well... Good Luck with the New Asembly! ... Pics Please!
  5. You´re Right! ... I Think Every Subie Engine is a State of the Art Design! Yes, Pics Please!
  6. I Love it, Absolutely! ... That´s the Colour I´ve Painted my Weberized EA82 Wagon. I Love it Too! ... That Colour, Just a Li´l Bit more Strong, is the one I´ve Choosed for my ER27 Wagon. So, Pearl White & Bright Yellow are my Choices I Just Thing that Darker Colours Don´t Mate Good a Squared Vehicle... but the Metallic Brown is Nice.
  7. My Sister Went to Winston-Salem in December, and she Said that she Saw Many Subies There...
  8. is the Very First Time I Ever Heard of Such Kind of Collection... ...Interesting! I Collect Old Videogame Consoles / Cartridages \ Related Items... and of Course, Subie´s Parts!
  9. Sometimes I get picked on in my wagons too, just Because... ... I`m not Sure. Maybe `cos I`m Runnin` Fast and the Weber`s Scream... (on the White One) or Just by the Looks (on the Yellow one) ... I Don`t Know. People here loves to Race, in my country, Honduras; there are Many Many Ricers... and Crashes too... :-\ ...and Racing (Ricers) Clubs.
  10. Very Well Done Job, Nice Work! ... Congratulations! I`m Sure that will be Really Good Done Too... Good Luck!
  11. Well... Thanx for the Explanations... I did the "Water" Cleanup, just with Li`l Amounts of Water... And it Worked fine... But now I`ll be more Carefull. So, I wanna Ask this: What do you Think About Seafoam?
  12. Many Thanx for the Replies! ... I´ll Search here for that Stuff.
  13. Well... Me Too! I Just Overfill the Fuel tank to its Limit, put the Miles Counter on the Dash on "0" and Do a Trip, at its End, I Refill the Tank and count how many Gallons where Used, then Calculatin´ how Many Miles I´ve done whith ´em, and That´s my Miles per Gallon Measurement. Not very Accurate, but Since City / Road \ Highway Mileage and Drivin´ conditions Vary; it Gives me a Good Average. For Example, my EA82 Weberized White Wagon, does around 40 Miles per Gallon in Highways, but just Around 30 in Cities... Maybe this Idea could Help you...
  14. What could Happen? ... I was Writing About to Clean Carbon Deposits on Combustion Chambers...
  15. This is Usual on Subies! Well... I Suggest to Check the Bulb, or test the Wires with other 9004 Bulb, as GD said; but Also: the Last Part of the Wires... Why? ... if the Dim Light is on the Battery Side, maybe it´s Acid Vapors did Corroed the Wires... it is a Possibility. On my Yellow Wagon, a Year Ago; I did have one dim Light too... it was the Plug that connecs to the 9004 Bulb (I use 9104 Rally Bulbs, but That´s another Story ) the Tiny Metal Sheets from the Plug were Corroed, like Burned... (Well... my Bulbs are 100 Watts output... ) but Maybe the same case can be on your Subie, so Check the Plugs "Carefully" too... Good Luck!
  16. Where I Live, There are No Seafoam... or I think that, ´cos I´d Never see it. So, could you post some Pics of the Product? and more Procedure info? ... I´ll Search on internet about, maybe I´ll buy one for my Subies. Thanx!
  17. I Just Wanna Add This: Check your Seat Belt! Why? ... Well, Old Seat Belts Loose their habilty to Lock on a Fast Stop Situation. Try pull as Fast as you can the Seat Belts of your Subie, while you get ´em on... If they Lock, They´re Ok. ... But if Not, Go Change / Fix \ Repair them as Long as it´s Safely Possible.
