  1. Elcaminokurt: Sent you a pm with the cell number just incase
  2. Man, I just had to return my exhaust manifold gaskets that were ordered off my vin number because Subaru couldn't get them anyother way. Well they were to big for my motor. I took the old ones over to NAPA and matched them up to something that I hope will work. If not just listen for the Subaru that sounds like a air compressor leaking roll into the lot tonight.
  3. Yeah, it's still winter and I couldn't find any leaves to stick on the tree.
  4. Oh well thats almost as good I'll be there if others are going to show, can get there by 8:30
  5. Geee, all the way down from Duluth just to see the Camo wagon? lol Must not be much to do up there.
  6. Well I got a deal on mine, rims and tires for 150.00 and they look it. Hmmmm, maybe I should paint them black Just kidding
  7. Yeah I will show if you guys are going. Hey, check this out. I'm thinking I could have some fun with this: http://www.gotflames.net/hypercart/Category.asp?category=Hot+Licks+Exhaust+Inc+Kits+and+Accessories
  8. I stopped at Morries last night to get a couple exhaust gaskets with the lifted wagon and lots of people came out of the building to look at it. lol Got the same response when I drove the XT in. They sure look different these days.....
  9. Hey, should we meet Friday night in St Paul where all the Sedans show up and make a show of old lifted Scubys? I can be there areound 8:30/9:00 for awhile. It turned heads before with just the camo on it. Now it really turns heads. I should get some advertising on the windows and make some money off it. lol
  10. I'd like to run up to that park but all depends on the timing. Also kinda afraid to get to rough with it after seeing the rust. It's still good around all the mounts and the uni-body spots are ok but man it's a shame it's a Minnesalta car. Guess I'll have to swap the lift over to the XT when I dump the wagon.
  11. Yeah I drilled the lugs and that was pretty easy. Tac welded the front lugs where the reset is on the hub to get them to sit level. I screwed up and drilled them to 9/16 instead of 14mm. Took the rear drums to the neighbors mill to get them the right size sense I couldn't weld the pot metal. Had one frame nut break loose so I had to cut a hole in the floor to get at it and put a nut on it. Other then that it was pretty easy. Had it done on Saturday but the bike show yesterday took my whole day. Oh and I thought it was under powered before. lol Bet I could out run it for a block unless I start out in low range. Run 1st and 2nd and then shift back to 2wheel. Kinda like having another gear. lol
  12. Toyota 4runner rims 235x75'15 tires and rims Had to modify the trans tunnel to keep the shifter in 1st,3rd and 5th. Also had to do the console in the car
  13. It's not paint. It's a 4'x5' vinyl sheet and you put it on like wallpaper. You can peel it off and the paint is good under it. On mine it's holding the rust together. lol My neighbor sells and installs the stuff and we needed a car to test it on when he first go it. Been on there a year now and I have had to fix spots here and there but it's pretty tough. Makes it thru the car washes ok. Here is a link to the stuff if you really want to see more about it: http://www.camoclad.com/
  14. Well I'm finished for the most part. Drove it to work today, 40 miles each way and my tires didnt fall off. For the most part it was pretty easy install. Had one of the tranny nuts spin loose so I couldn't tighten the bolt. Ended up pulling the carpet back and makinging a small hole thru the floor to get a nut on top of the bolt. Pain in the butt. Here are the finished pictures I took quick yesterday: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=32910 Thanks PKDavis, great product and will out last my rusty car I'm sure.

    EA82 lift kit???

Well mine seems to be going thru the rockers in back and by one of the lift blocks I just installed. Maybe I should be installing this kit in the XT instead. Naa, it doesn't have low range. Should probably get another or two out of the wagon. Maybe by then I can afford something newer, something in the 90's

    EA82 lift kit???

I started my install last night on my 87 carb wagon. Got the rear done in 2½hrs. Could have been sooner but I cross threaded a bolt and had to run into town to get a new one and then run a thread chaser thru the whole. Going to start on the front tonight. I have a/c so whats with having to change that? Doesn't look like anythings going to bother it other the removing the fan shroud. Guess I will wait and see. All I can say about the rear so far is cut loose your break lines and drop the plate where the filter is on the pass side. Other then that it was pretty easy. Didn't realize how rusty my car was getting until I got under it.
  18. Awww, you folks are making me feel bad now First I buy a car that he was supposed to get and then you all make it sound like I got the wrong one.... (Guess I better get my motor back and in my old Dodge so I can go fast up hills. Only problem is I will be able to only afford one trip up the hill with the price of gas now. But hey, when I hit the button it will really go up a hill )
  19. Hey Matt, don't know much about the XT6 but I just bought an 86 XT. Just an fyi, I came across a couple of them last week at Han's junkyard in Elk River. One black, one white. So there is a parts place for ya.
  20. Well if it's planned far enough a head date wise I might be able to make it out. Is this a weekend thing? With all the Minnesota people heading that way it looks like break downs are covered. (Now lets see, lifted wagon or XT?? hmmm) Hey, lets coax this guy from Washington with a little white Brat with pink rims to drive out for it and maybe his old wagon can head back this way too.)
  21. Hey, kit showed up Saturday evening..... Thanks Patrick, looks great.
  22. Well good luck sir and thanks for getting mine out!
  23. So does that mean my kit never shipped?
