um im not sure but thats looks like the carb ive got on my 74 1400. i dnont think we got as much emissions stuff on our cars back then?

oh ok thats strange coz i saw an was it an 73 or 74 gl 1400 coupe that had them fitted in oz ay. and as far as i new it was oz new? well in nz it was from new any way

ive owned both, the older and later turbo xts as well as xt6 and i would pic the xt6 every time. its much nicer car i recon

im going to mod my 1400 coupe. it has got rust in it that needs 2 b cut out. the last 2 owners had cut lots of wires which was causing it 2 short as well they added spoiler. they didnt use an drill to drill the holes. i think yhey used an hammer and an nail. it was used as an farm hack and the horse broke the mirrors lol

what dose the steering wheel look like?

i think if its really rare or very tidy orignal car, to keep it stock unless it always had problems with mechicals or motor and it was better to fit it with updated mechicals etc. or modify so the car is safer to drive. i think if its ruff car or had been played with and isnt the best example around its ok to mod

i got 2 1988 Station wagons the same colour. 1 is an DL and GL both are front wheel drive with 1600 engine. GL has the electric mirrors, Rev counter, hight adjustable drivers seat. adjustable steering hight, adjustable intermitant wiper speed, power steering, touringing wagon extra hight roof part, and the 2 part rear folding down seat thats the differences ive noticed so far
