Look for a baffeled oilpan! some cars had 'em some didn't but I have yet to figure out which they came on.

Guys, Justy's aren't Subarus... They are rebadged Suzukis, Swifts, Geos, all in the same family, all three cyl engines. the Justy just threw 4wd into the mix, nothing else. But I still think they're hella cool! Might get one if I can find one in good condition!

So what is the code for a USDM Impreza Corky? Zap- Racing is mostly driver and only a little bit car. You're obviously a great driver. As you know, Im in high school, so most of my racing will be of the drag kind. The more HP the better! Also a sleeper would be nice, but if I can find an RS cheap, Im gonna try to get it, or if I decide to use my new engine, it won't really matter what chassis it goes in.

Got a hook up on any more of those engines?

The RX is an EA82 and thus would need a custom suspension set up!!!

Yeah yeah yeah Corky, laugh it up... At least its a REAL WRX, not an "L" with plastic surgery and a heart transplant!!! I know what the GDB suspension looks like. I dont have an EA82 so I cant go look at one. Im trying to decide between an Impreza shell or an EA82 shell. Impreza=expensive & better, EA82=cheap & cheap!

Does anyone have pics of thses differences? Brad-Dad is pulling money from account and we'll drop it today.

Why wont the rears fit specifically?

If an EA82 chassis is converted to 5 lug/XT6 parts, will the suspension off an Impreza or Legacy bolt in? I've heard that the front will but the back wont. I just want someone to set the record stright. Also some 5 lug parts from imprezas are bette4r to use than from a XT6. Why? Pics of differences?

Im working on it and want to get everything squared away so when I get a shell, I can work on that and have the engine done!

Hows it going removing the intake manifold? I have had to disconnect so many things to free it from the wiring and vacuum hoses!

On all the cars I've changed oil on, if you open the oil cap while the engine is hot, smoke will come out.

Alright then I will. A few of the hoses (Metal ones) have rust and gunk in them and I think Im gonna replace them. Also the MAF to turbo pipe is cracked and Im going to need that too. Belts I figure I can get from NAPA or something. How should I clean out the PS resivior, the replacement you gave me has crud in it and the little filter was askew and I don't want to take any chances. BTW, did you pull that intake manifold yet? I've almost got mine off but I basically had to rip everything off the engine! Never knew it took so much to refurbish/ clean the OUTSIDE of an engine! When do you expect to get that wiring info? Need parts to bring an engine back up to snuff. Anyone know where to get replacement parts or a website that shows parts interchangability?
