BTW - My 92 ruled the snow and ice with cookie cutter all season radilas that I bought from a junkyard with like 1980 type All season ptread pattern. Then today , I drove a 2003 E2500 Ford van 2wdn thru the West hills of downtown portland w/no problems and it was just as bad on the surface roads as yesterday. Idiots.

I live in salem oregon , which is 30 miles s of portland. I know portland well. That hill is VERY STEEP! All the cars are going downhill . Yes they are all SUV's and AWD. Problem here is most of these people in portland ... 1: dont know how to drive in snow (amazing , its the NW:-\ ) 2: Have bad tires or low pro tires with street tread(idiots render there SUV usless) 3: Idiots. But none the less , that is a very steep ,San Fransico type street. The 1st guy gets propelled down another street that is also downhill and I also believe he was trying to flee the scene.

Did the trick with the Deep Creep. Much better idle when warm , but still a really bad cold start. I have to try and start it like 2-3 times before itll finally hold a idle and then it usually sits at like 200rpm and slowly climbs to 800rpm before finally holding a consistant idle. Starts and idles just fine when its at operating temp. I reset the ECU so well see if we get any CEL's.

Well car has 229k miles on it and I knew it was gonna have problems since I bought it for $500 , but no biggie. Anyways......... I did the Tbelt and pullies the other day and after I did the job I have troubles starting it when cold. Got a CEL and it was #13 Cam Angle Sensor. Then a wekk later , today, I throttle it to pass a semi and then the CEL comes on. I check the codes and now I get . 13 - Camshaft Position sensor 35 - Purge Control Selenoid 42 - Idle Switch. How much fun am I having ?
