  1. I am certainly no mech. but I second the sticky valve.
  2. Thank you for the replies.. The back seems to be stock, so it will be the front that will get the attitude adjustment. Mike
  3. If it was an ea82 i would say subarutex but since it isn't ..I have no idea
  4. Is it easier to crank the susp. back down with the car raised or on the ground? My 86 hatch is eating axles and tires and she is getting expensive.I also would like to know what size wrench is needed for the job, yea I am being lazy but my son also played with my tools and has them scattered throughout the garage (Grrr). I have gotta get it done. Mike
  5. It is more a less a plate for under the light just to keep it off the windshield. its a bigger prob. with Brats T-tops. It could give you a mounting point if you wanted to use a couple 1/4" round bar to deflect stubborn branches and whatnot. just a thought.
  6. If/when you do the removable light bar. Think about little deflectors so that the lights dont illuminate your windshield as well. Mike
  7. you could move west to accomodate your clients which would cut down on shipping.
  8. Could be that my Weber is done the same way. Idle sits usually around 1100..I may have to ask for some detailed pics when i get some spare time.
  9. This is sweet.. Almost cool enough to put lift plans on hold for another year but not quite..There are a few people up here that would skin me alive! mike
  10. Does it sound like it is binding, and is worse when the car has been sitting for a few hours? Mike
  11. I have had very good reuslts with the Cooper wintermasters.. nice deep lug..be mindful of how fast you take a corner though... The tire roll can be a little scary. mike
  12. I could hear it if it was next to my door..freaking peterbuilt is loud. I thought Qman's was silver?...guess it has been far too long since I have visited with the boys.
  13. could have been i was in my work truck(My seat is 7' off the ground) so it looked stock. i dont think it had a rollbar though.
  14. I saw it on Thursday I think. had the yellow rally type suby logo on the rear corner(s).. just wondering..It is good to see more people coming around to the insanity of subaru pride. Mike
  15. It's all in good fun anyway. i keep waiting for Eric to start modifying each car a little differently just for the idividuality of each car he possesses(sp?). Call it a signature of sorts...other than the lift. Mike
  16. At least you eat those words with dignity Mike
  17. Eric, sometimes I worry about your mental health..J/K You know you aren't going to be able to keep it clean. Mike
  18. I thought the EJ25 went to closed deck after 99 or was that the EJ20? Mike
  19. Washingtonians are born with webbed feet.
  20. That sounds all to familiar...Stay up too late and get up too early..not enough coffee tends to make for hazardous morning..for others. Mike
  21. If Brian is right then we really don't have to worry over it. On the other hand this thread is kinda funny. I am glad not to be the one on Ken's black list... I think he has a mean streak and most of us are very lucky not to experience that. Mike
  22. It wasn't me... i have only a little time to peruse the board now and then let alone have time to piss him off.. besides.. I wouldn't dare.. he helps me figure out my problems when I am dumbfounded...Which is quite often when there is something more to do than an axle.. My trouble shooting skills suck. Mike
  23. IDK about the bike attatchment but Mudrat79 is a fabrication master. I'd be willing to bet he could build one for a whole lot less than new.
  24. Mykeys Toy replied to subGSR's topic in Off Road
What kind of specs are you looking for? Many of the board member will be able to answer your Q's. But if you want to know what kind of materials and such you will have to talk to PK Davis, Mudrat79 or anyone else that has lifts for sale. Both of these guys are very busy and can take a while to get back to you. They will get back to you though. Mike
  25. if you have the necesaary tools to disassemble the door panel and have small enough hands its easy just be sure to take your time and plan it out so you don't have wires hanging down..Zip ties and wire looms are your friend. mike
