  1. Yeah he's going to put the fender's and radiator back on and what ever else! I think it would be a good idea to weld some bar's to the front of the fram just fo a little more protection! Ya know... He's BTW did you see that other tread about taking a Subaru to a derby?? That guy was sick!! Why would you even think about taking a Roo to a derby? :-\ It would just be said to see a good Roo getting beatin and unloved! It was bad enuff with a guy on youtube doing a rear wheel burn out with a Loyale and that EA82 was screming:mad: I love Subaru's to much to hurt one! Maybe it's just me.....
  2. Yeah i agree that car will last'n last!!! And another this make sure you check or replace the fan/V-belt you don't want that to go when you in the middle of a battle hahahaha!
  3. Oh yeah that babe should be able to rip thru anybody with that 400ci !! You mite win too! It all depends on how you drive and where you take the hit's!! Now that's a 76 right? I like the cragger's in the rear too bad there going to get mangeld:lol: OH! And a word og advice chance the radiator hose's because i've seen so many that burst just when you really get going!! I saw a demo derby one year and there were alot of 70's Buick wagon's and Pontiac's but there was this 89-92 Chevy corsica 4dr and it lasted the longest! And it was so funny because one of the front tire's got a hole in it and there was fix-a-flat pissing out Hahahahaha! And after the tire went flat you could see the rim spining inside the tire and there's what seald it's fate! But anyhoo best of luck with it and hope you win! Chers, Tom.....................
  4. Oh! There's a swear filter?? Ok i guess i'll be cool! Anyhoo i have all the part's except the tensioners and idler! I'm not going to worry about the water pump right now, But i know i've heard all about it too! And since i have the oil pump i mite as well change it! And the micky mouse is leaking so...... Anywayz Yeah the Subaru dealer is a good place to go, But i like Rockauto.com too, because i needed a driver's side light assembly and the dealer wanted like $250 and Rockauto had it for $147 so it was a great deal! Oh! Since i'm going to buy the tensioners from Rockauto what brand do you recamend??? Is Beak/arnly good?? Or should i get SUBARU OEM? Because SUBARU OEM is $45 bucks and Beck/arnly is like $30 and i need both so that's $60 and then the ideler is $34 So that's $94 big ones plus shipping!!
  5. Hey if you need part's in the future try http://www.Rockauto.com They'v got ton's of Sh#@ for the EA82 and all Subaru's..... Should i change the tensioners and ideler when i do the oil pump and T belt's??? Is the EA82 oil pump and timing belt's hard to replace??? See this is my first car and my dad never worked on a Roo before So.... Anyhoohope you tensioners last untill you get'em it!

Because i've got to do it sooner-or later and i've been coleting info and my do's great with Vehicle's and i'm getting there!! But he never worked on a Roo. He's used to V8's and american not Boxer's!! Just a thought if you have time drop me a line!
  18. The SUBARU 360 was an ok car for it's time. But it's RR and it's only got 15-17hp! And you'll red line at only 35-40mph! But i love all Roo's!!
  19. Yeah ok i agree with the blocking airflow thing! And what about scratching? And dirt/salt get's trapped in there and then the Roo get's cancer:( Me i thing bra's are only good on 2 thing's women and cheep ricer's!
