YEA ROCK THE DLS Actually some people will argue that the while the gl light setup is a cleaner look the dl light setup is easier to maintain and brighter. I dont have problems seeing when driveing at night. Others say the lighting through the gl headlight stinks. Just an opinion though.

mine seems to be intermitent. It will climb up while im driveing but as its almost to the H part it goes back down to half. Im thinking sticky t stat. Miht as well get some other parts while im at it. Whose got the subaru part number i need. Also im getting a waterpump while im at it. ea82 non turbo ac/car Ben

Yea hell man i dont know what to do with this thing. I guess start gathering parts and go from there. Waterpump and gaskets. Mickey Mouse gaskets, timeing belt tensioner. yada yada yada.

so if we were to tear into this thing, how long would it take to change out the water pump and whatever freekin oil gasket died

I have a factory fog light switch from a gl but i have a dl. It would fit nicely in the stock location. I was wondering if it was worth it to somehow wire up the factory foglight switch to the foglights i bought. If it would be a hastle wireing it then ill use the supplied one from the kit. Ben

I wont even go into the dam exon valdiez oil leak ive seamed to acquire but where the hell is this jumpy temp gauge coming from. Air in the system, there is alittle leak. Weve had freezing temps. Someone mentioned frozen t-stat. I dont know if i have exactly a 50/50 mix in my cooling system anymore. Still heats up ok and defrosts ok. Where do i need to go from here:confused:

Yea i dont know what the deal is. Ill go out there alittle before work to see whats going on. I added a qt of oil after i noticed the puddle last night. I saw that temp gauge go slowly up then all of a sudden it went down to the normal mark. Frozen rad prehaps. I probally dont have a good mix in there.

Sorry i dont remember the product but any lubracent should work except wd40. You need something greesy like a pbblaster or a pantherpiss type lube.

yea guys i think my car is out for the season. Well see what tomorrow brings but me and the wife are looking at other avenues. And no it doesnt involve getting rid of the car.

I 2nd the last post. An old guy i worked for was putting this lube in a new truck he just bought. When i asked him what was what he tossed me the can and said put this in your locks and they will never freeze. I did that 3 years ago and ive never had a lock problem I now put it in once on every vehicle i have and i have never had a lock problem. Even in the bitter cold we have now i can still lock and unlock my subaru with ease. Ben

How is it affecting your soob. I let it warm up for 15 minutes only to find not only a puddle of antifreeze but a puddle of oil as well. I watched the temp gauge flutter up and down all the way home. It didnt want to idle at first so i had to hold the gas until it cooperated. I have a sick suby:(

I needed to put a Kellys Blue Book Value of my cars because were applying for medical financial aid. I was shoked on both of them. My van is only worth 9 thousand and i owe 14:mad: But the suprise even with the miles and the condition they put my subaru at 1,815. I was like nooo i missed something but i didnt. I think there being alittle kind.
