  1. ok ive got to ask, how much did you get it for and how much are you getting rid of it for. Since its a gen1 brat i bet restored it would fetch a pretty penny. Say, now youve got something to put those gen1 bratrails youve been trying to get rid of.
  2. In all seriousness, i thought eventhough run or drive they had a limit on how many you could have. Like 5 i think.
  3. LOL im calling the city on you. If you want you can store some of your crap at my new house. I want to pi** off my new neighbors.
  4. Poor guy all hes wanting to do is do his 5 speed swap and were makeing him our biznitch. One thing you will learn vwIan is that subaru people look out for eachother. Ive had people help me with projects, send me parts, give me parts. Its just a family. We apreciate any help you can provide the rest of the clan with parts we are needing.
  5. Now that i think about it, i think we should be pulling my motor and going through it guys, huh huh whose with me.
  6. Anything offroad with big tires you want the benefit of dual range. But for street use only i find my pushbutton very ample for what i need it for.
  7. Ill be the 1st one to say it. If you want more power(like we all do) why not just ej swap. You can put just about any subaru engine in these cars. Even the STI engines. Why not go that route.
  8. I heard talk of santy bring ya a ea81 but i guess he couldnt fit it in his napsack
  9. ahh all is good. AAA towed it for free, so he got to fix it in a nice warm garage.
  10. good luck connie, say did santa drop off something for you.
  11. If i were you i would start pulling lsd rear ends and dual range transmissions because they are wanted items on here. An easy way to make a buck. Also i believe that dual range is great. But depending on what your wanting to do with the car, i believe push button 4wd is just fine. I have that on my dl wagon and i am getting along great here in the snow and ice. Now if you are more prone to explore the backwoods then yes you want the dual range most definately. But if its a daily driver, i dotn think you need much more then the push button. But thats my opinion.
  12. Its a good thing your ok and it happened on a back road and not the highway. I had some balljoint problems of my own when i bought my car and i drove it with kid gloves until i could afford to fix it. Let this be a lesson to you. Either inspect the car yourself or have midas, or tuffys, or car x or any other mechanic check over your car to make sure its safe for you to drive.
  13. You might as well reinforce the whole thing while your under there. See McBrats off road project in the off road section.
  14. I do, but not saying those still wouldnt look good on my car.
  15. u know those old tires would look good on my wagon.
  16. But this is the brat which is going to be spending most of the time in the mud and the woods. It will be caked with mud most of the time anyways:banana:
  17. loyale lacks power, dont they all
  18. Where is that jy you found those pugs at brent.
  19. Its like the worlds gone pug dry on me. I think id like a set of 14s anyway, they seem to fit better in a lowered wheel well.
  20. uhh im thinking we all want to see pictures.
  21. I just think with your rig a nice beadlock look would be good, and the chrome centercap would match your doorhandles:grin:
