  1. Kinda a hijack, but how do you keep water out of the fuel system on a regular basis. Just those jugs of heet or whatever every time you fill up.
  2. I think the offset is different with pugs anyway, they seem to stick out about 1/2 inch more then the factory wheels do. This is my first time seeing this thread. I think the 15 pugs look good but yea sit to wide. Heres a question. Have you considered widening the wheel wells. Since your going lower and for a unique look i think it would enhance the stance of your ride. I believe they use fiberglass but it would be alot of custom work. Might be cool to see. Nice project buy the way. Ben
  3. Just sounds starved of fuel to me. Have you checked your fuel filter to see if its clogged. Its possible that your fuel pump is freezing up when it gets cold also.
  4. Is there an easier way to do it. When i try to remove the upper panel i busted all the tabs off. Am i going to be able to put this back without replaceing the tabs.
  5. I guess it depends on ones ability. Heres mine and luckly its all surface rust which i can handle. But if it were any type of cutting and welding i wouldnt have the tools or the talent. You need to know what you can and cant do and then go from there. Im sure you would have lots of help and encouragement of others on here if you were to restore. I thought i noticed some rust spots in your brat tops area as well.
  6. Jesus man. I just saw the rest of the pics. Rip off the goodies and wheel the crap out of it. Thats alot of money.
  7. Well you know i hate wasteing cars and love restoring them. You could always remove the goodies, lift it and beat the crap out of it. No offence but i havent seen to bad of pictures yet. How about a shot further away. If you want to give it away i could take it off your hands. I dont mind rust.
  8. Campout. Is this a family thing or a bunch of dudes hanging around sanding on my car ohhhh i mean errr yea . Sure im up for it. Id be even up for some stock type wheelin but yea not till spring or summer but if its like last year we might not get to go till it dries up. But again also not mesh with wcss, i think some people were trying to go. ben
  9. VROOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM Strange thing it started up when i went to attack it (Violet knows better not to mess with me). I went and had it tested on the car anyways. Not fully dead but pretty much there. 4 year old Factory battery with only 500 cold cranking amps. Pretty lame. So tomorrow its getting replaced with a brand new DieHard. I wanted to go interstate but ive got sears gift cards so to easy to get a good battery for next to nothing. I think there like 695-795 cold cranking amps. Mmmmmmmmmmm Power.
  10. i dont have a volt meter something i do which is not smart. but i take the positive and negative when hooked up to the battery and tap them together to make sure ive got something. When i did it to the van. Nothing.
  11. Ok i tried to jump my van with the subaru and got nothing. So either my jumper cables are garbage, or this van battery is toast. How can i be sure if i bring it down to autozone and they test it there not just trying to rip me off with a new battery.
  12. Still wont start im takeing drastic measures now.:horse:zzz:Flame:
  13. I guess a simple check would be to take your fuel filter off and cut it open. If you see chunks of garbage in it, you know the tank is bad. I wouldnt start changeing out parts until you know exactly what is wrong.
  14. Doesnt matter any more fellas shes toast. Wont even turn over now. If i cant get it started buy saturday im takeing drastic measures. On another note my subaru is doing pretty good except the suspension is frozen. When i hit a bump theres no gradual movement its just bam. I despirately need to flush the heater core and replace the t stat. Also, this is kinda stupid but has anyone ever put house insalation in the door pannels and roof to quiet down there cars and maybe keep some heat inside of them. Ben
  15. I guess i can haul it to my garage but thats ont he other side of the parking lot. maybe i can pull it with my car.
  16. Heres the end result of salt.
  17. How can i heat it up in the middle of a parking lot
  18. Im kinda concerned about my wifes car boys, any advist. Should i take a hammer and try to tap the pullys to get them loose.
  19. But the suby started up. My wifes van has a pully locked up i can hear the belt tearing across it.
  20. I doubt your going to find anything in 6 lug thats 13 inch. But i did have some 6 lug mazda wheels that were 14 inch i sold a while back. I think you could get 14 steel wheels for mazda, toyota, isuzu that would work. But 15inch would get you a better tire selection.
  21. no one is answering you because they hate you because you found a brat for 200 bucks.. Just kidding someone should chime in here.
  22. 17s Mick. Why didnt you go 15s with more meat on the sidewalls
  23. So does this mean you will have a dual range for sale. And did i read 17 inch wheels. For the love of god Y:eek:
