If it's towable(is that a word?:-p ) I have a chain on tow bar and the uni towing lights so that wouldn't be a problem;)

EA82 Engine at school
EA82 parts are eazy to get, I wouldn't worry about it unless U need somthing off it.
-
ATTN: RR's
Yeah, it's a 4WD. I could pich in on it if $$ is a problem, I just couldn't aford the total right now. If it's still there and U need some $$ give me a call. I would hate to lose out on a 4X4 for $150!!

I know that Matt was going to look @ a hatch today, but I never herd back from him. U will have to come over and see the new parts car I got and see if there is any thing U need off it.

EA82T High Idle
Poss.a vacume signal problem? The heater controlls are all vacume:eh: Just a thought there. I'm not sure where the computer takes it's signal from to up the idle.

Cluch install Q (about axles)
COOL! That's what I wanted to hear! I would just pull the engine, but I have no cherry picker
-
Cluch install Q (about axles)
Do I need to pull the front axles all the way out to change the cluch in an '86 4WD wagon, or can I just pull the roll pins @ the trans side and pull the trany back? I'm lazy, can U tell? :eh::-p

Alloys - 14" Leone
WOW!! over here they tell us not to tow with our old subes I do it any way, and I made my oun hitch, but that's cool! That set up has to be at least 3000lbs
-
Alloys - 14" Leone
But the wagon WOULD tow the car AND trailer OK? How was the hitch bolted up to the car? Bumper or body mounted?
-
Alloys - 14" Leone
I see in 1 pic. on your'e site that U are towing a car trailer with the race car on it, and U are doing it with an EA82 WAGON!! How hard of a time do U have with that? What type of hitch are U using to do it, and how is it mounted to the car? Ever break/bend any thing with that set up?

Ever seen this wheel before?
Yea, it's a FREEBIE!!! freebie, freebie, freebie. Zip, zero, nada:D Just gona pull some parts and junk the rest;)
-
Ever seen this wheel before?
Well...I just found it on the wheel page:-p It's a good looking wheel, any one got 2 more?
-
this one beats me
It sounds like a vacume leak to me 2, but fule filters are cheep, eazy to re-place and can solve LOTS of strange problems. I would start the car up, let it warm up, and then start spraying brake cleaner arond the manifold/vacume ports &lines. If the idle drops, U know U have found your vac.leak;)
-
Ever seen this wheel before?
I got a free wagon today and it has 2 of these on it. They are 13" with the 4 on 140mm patern, and they look to be about 6" wide.Alloy wheel

T-case question for 86
No, if it's an auto than it will ONLY have hi range. and some 5spd.s ONLY have hi range. In order for it to be a dual range it MUST HAVE a 2nd shifter. 5spds with only 1 shifter are a single range ( push button) On the older 4spds they can have the 2nd shifter and still be a single range 4wd. Hope that clears it up for ya;)

Don't worry Sean, they will be going on the green wagon. Going for the old school rally car look with that one.

Did Subaru make mud flaps for the FRONT of EA82's?

Making a Subaru Trail Ready???
Adam NDJ has done the Nis. transfer too, and it's not as hard as U would think. U will need the transfer case from a Nissan 720 4x4 PU with the shifter and dummy shaft. Whith ther gearing that the T-case adds your engine should do fine, and U can get away with only 6" of lift if U do it right.
