  1. I have been checking this guy's listings out too, i was curious if the struts for the 90-91 loyales would fit my 92 loyale? I'm assuming they would but i want to be sure..... anyone know?! and on another note anyone know where to find the adjustable struts mentioned above? I couldn't find any new production replacement ones! :/
  2. Sweet thats exactly what i needed it made sense but i could never get the terminology right in my head. Thanks!
  3. Ok i just found a cheap set of wheels i want to use they are a chevy 16" rim here is a link: http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=2608847&cat=243&lpid=23 hopefully that works. anyone want to throw out there what tire size i should go with to stay close to the standing height of what im running right now? (185 80 R13) I'm thinking that a 195 50 R16 would be close and give me a lower profile look? Please give me your 2cents
  4. Ok That helps i was thinking of doing that as a fall back if i don't find some extra hubs at the junk yard tomorrow. Oh and thanks for your replies especially uberroo. And im still wondering because i may just order some wheels, what is a good width and offset for a non lifted set up. I'm just looking to upgrade tire width and height a bit for handling and top speed gain. Thanks!
  5. Im going to do the 6 bolt swap on my hubs and i cant remember what the spacing is on the 6 bolt system. I know its the older style 6 bolt? And if i were to get some basic wheels just to replace my stock wheels what is a good offset and width to go with that wont give me any rub? Thanks for any help and sorry for the dumb question:-p
  6. That would be the one thanks for the link!
  7. I DID A search and tired to find a wheel thread posted recently that had most all of the subaru wheels made (4x140) and couldnt find it! :-\ Anyone know where it is? Thanks
  8. Mine had vacuum problems for the longest time, but i solved it all by spending around 20 bucks and a couple hours of work replacing the hoses. You can buy the hose by the foot at your local parts store. It was the best thing i ever did for the car. The 4wd worked, the cruise control worked, and heck it even runs better. Do yourself a favor and get a little dirty fixing an easy problem!
  9. Ok here is a more technical question about Rx tranny swap. Im told i can trade out the auto tranny for a manual DR. Im running through the process in my head and get hung up on the clutch linkage and pedal. Does anyone have a rite up or any advice? Thanks:headbang:
  10. my ea82 FI does this also, i kinda just accept it i guess
  11. Ok i searched this thread and others..... and im still at a loss of thought over which particular parts are needed to lower my car. I have seen broad examples, but still left me wondering. I have a 92 loyale 4wd and just want to drop the back end about and inch maybe 2. Would getting shorter springs do the trick? or should i get struts from a 2wd wagon? I need new struts/ springs an would appreciate any definite answers!
  12. alright as long as people are posting interchangeable springs, does anyone know of springs for the front and rear that will give your car more lift? Like a couple inches?
  13. sweet thats the answer i needed cause i cant afford to lose power! ahaha
  14. So i have a 92 loylae wagon FI and i need to do some repairs on the exhaust. I thought up a custom idea where you do 2 pipes 2 mufflers and maybe cats. That way you would have a true dual exhaust! Good idea? Bad idea? Let me know Thanks!
  15. ok im glad we verified that before i bought the wrong ones thanks man!
  16. so wait are you saying i have to get that DR out of the RX? or is that just a suggestion for a better set up? i thought any wagon pretty much with a DR would work? Sorry for lack of knowledge on the subject :-\
  17. Ok guys new question about the DR tranny, are there some with the 3.9 and or 3.7 gearing? And how can i tell? Thanks for any help!
  18. ok i don't have them but i need new struts where did you get them from? Thanks for any info!
  19. so below the coil spring? I will check it out tomorrow!
  20. How do i know if my stock struts are adjustable. I have heard a couple others ont the forum saying thiers were and if thats the case with mine i might as well do that before a lift kit. Let me know (92 Loyale FI EA82)
  21. Ok so i have a 92 loyale with the EA82 i believe and i have been replacing all the vacuum lines and now my cruise control works which is great! I kinda throttles on and off but keeps the speed i set just fine, so i was wondering if that is normal or if it should be a more constant throttle'ing? Thanks
  22. so, i was checking out the white subie's wheels and noticed it looks like you had the hubs drilled out to 6 bolt pattern? I have been reading about it in the repair section where did you go to have it done? How much did they charge if you don't mind me asking?
