My current RX is special since its hand built by me and basically IS an RX (I have the bodykit and spoiler for it too). However, it is silver, not black or white. Now my old black RX was the real deal which went back to the yard in which it came from:rolleyes:

Yeah the guys at VTR are awesome. If you want their number, PM me. Cost me $370 for tinting and Hella Supertones installed on my RX. Tint was $189 + $50 to remove the old nasty purple tint from the back window, $62 for the horns and then like $20 for install I think? I went with 35% on the front windows (going to go with %15 here soon) and 15% on the back 3 windows. Good quality and they have a lifetime warranty from bubbling and wrinkling:banana: For going to the SRP meet for the RX guys... ehh I dunno. Its nice to go hang out with the Impreza guys but its not "personal" enough for the RX owners, plus I hate dealing with ******************s about my "old Subaru":rolleyes:

the only problem is that there's no room on the driver's side for a regular electric fan which is why the slim fan is one of the only options besides getting an aftermarket one.

Instead of replacing the mechanical fan, find an EA81 car with AC and steal the slim electric fan from it. Gotta drill a couple holes in the radiator but works better then the mechanical fan, plus gives you a little horses back:banana:

I've seen a lot of black RX's with that combination in them. Not really rare but kind of uncommon.

Umm I think the '94 Imp sedans were the lightest from hanging out with Matt (Superrallysoob) but they should still get the job done. Oh and BTW, that thing IS hideous, maybe thats why its in your driveway:-p

You are correct my dear friend on terminology of those parts. The spindle could also be the end of the CV axle where it goes through the hub but also refered to as the CV stub.

Where aren't they wanting to come off from? The knuckle? Beat on the knuckle right where the taper is and it should vibrate loose. If its seperating the outer tie rod ends from the inners, then heat and lots of grunting is required.

Now why would you start doing that?:-p Granted the RX box doesn't have the desired 1.59:1 low range but I love having that tranny behind my SPFI motor. Does awesome around town in 4low and when I get on the freeway, pop that sucka into 4hi unless I have to go up a grade, then back into 4low she goes.

Suuuuuuuure like me washing my car once a week:-p But then of course, all it does is rain here and we don't have to worry about road salt:eek:

That would work for me since it would give me a couple weeks to get my other STi seat installed, possibly my bodykit, new exhaust gaskets, and some other little do dads to make it stand out;)

So now that we figured a Sunday would be best, how about a date? It needs to be a couple weeks out, still have a few things I need to get done to mine before I'd want to bring it.

I need to hang out with you guys more often.... I get no looks in the RX:-\
