  1. hello, i have a 79 brat that i got a long while ago but i don't have my licence yet so i have been doing work on it. it has a brand new clutch, dizzy cap, rotor, machined flywheel, park plugs and leeds... all of those things gave me more power then when i bought the car but i could still og for more power... i was thinking about a weber carb, maybe new exaust or something but i wasn't sure about what exactly to get??? i would like to keep it as stock as possible(or at least appear stock). my speedo doesn't work and normally i wouldn't care but this is an american car and i had to bring it up to Canada. so i have to get it inspected to make sure it is road-worthy. so it has to work. it worked when i bought the car and i took apart the tranny to replace a seal and i think i might have missed something. is there something special about the speedo cable to reinstall it? if not and i just screwed it up i was thinking that i could get a seperate speedo and put it on the dash... but how would i install it? thanks for your help

  5. interesting... i just looked at the only picture i have of a chaser and it looks very much like the 3dr hatchbacks. it probably is... but still no justy... hmmm... any takers???
  6. hello all, i have seen lots of lifted wagons, hatchbacks and brats on this board but i haven't seen any lifted chasers or justys. is there something very different about them that makes them no good for lifting and modifying for off-roading? i have access to tons of chasers and a few justys in Vancouver and i think it would be really cool to see one all done up for off-roading... am i the only personwho thinks this or do others agree with me? thanks for your input!
  7. he all, so there are some brats in B.C. thats cool to know. any of you people going to wccs 6 in the summer??? it would be cool if we all caravaned to the show... a pack of BC soobs!
  8. hi all, this is a little off topic but i have a question you about your car. what is that big shiny box with wires sticking out of it beside your alternator? mine doesn't have one and in fact that spot on mine is filled with an air horn? even though the real horn right behind it works!?! who ever put it in before i bought it is really weird... but then again i can have horn fights with myself! so ya... what is that!?!?
  9. No...79 brat I want it though. is that possible? Easy mod super difficult? in between? i am just lazy and weak! haha... thanks
