  1. Hi;

    I am new to the cyberworld but not new to Subarus. I am looking to find a good repair specilist for a 2003 wrx. Short of brakes, I've never had to do anything to the car. At 183k ( and the original clutch ) I figure I'm living on borrowed time. Looking to find fellow Soobies to determine if a clutch and probably a timing belt is somthing I should tackle.

  2. So we spent the early afternoon pulling all ground connections we could find... There was a lot and immediately spotted a problem. Ont ground wire that connected to a plug that ran into the coil was corroded/snapped. We ended ip replacing the entire wire and connector. Hoping that was the problem, we started her up and tested her again. Still the power was low. I knew it was the altenator, but we checked everything anyway. After swapping Alts everything was peachy keen. On an up note, We found the problem with my window too. Either the power/ground wire was cut and we just bypassed it making a new one. Yay i have a window again!
  3. Im just curious my shifter is noisy. Not the tranny just the shifter. It has been getting a little louder as of late. I came across this thread on a newer legacy with a simalar problem. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=962&highlight=Noisy+shifter Is the shifter set up similar. Can I do the same thing?
  4. I have a legacy that the prev owner said right rear strut was broken. Does anyone have any That i can buy for a 94 Legacy fwd wagon. Here's a pic of the wheel as it sits: (cruddy quality sorry.) Need help ASAP if possible.
  5. this was a couple of months ago at my gramma's. I was doing some work for her. I have lost a bit of weight since then.
  6. This was a birthday e-card i made for a friend from Norway. The pick was taken in the bathroom, about a week ago. So here's Hildie's owner
  7. Let's see. I took a 481 mile trip from central wisconsin to Alpena Michigan (off of thunder bay) via U.P. MI last tuesday. I already know hildie burns a little oil. So i dumped a quart in when i crossed the border. When I left my grandmas house on thursday (intended on leaving weds, had to work thurs, but got snowed in) My wipers had frozen along with window was pump. And I had the tick of death. I only had one more quart of oil with me so I checked the oil and dumped that quart in too. thankfully it quit. About an hour out of Alpena I hit a phesant which BROKE my right wiper. I could literally hear the poor thing hitting each rung of the roof rack. Wipers still werent working but i managed to jimmy the right one. But without washers workin i had to stop everytime i ended up behind someone because of the muddy salt crap that got sprayed on the windshield. plus side is i was only an hour and a half late for work!
  8. It's okies, i forgive you I suppose i see your point on a couple of spots. But i do know VW's, my first car was a 1980 A1 type Jetta soft slider top.
  9. You gotta love connections and easy payments BTW how ARE the hawks doing this season?
  10. I hope you arent suggesting that I copied that. I am an artist and i do NOT condone stealing other people's work. I know that there are several versions of the wagon= truck, I just want to add my own spin to it
  11. I am sorry, I am actually new to subaru's, my mom is the subaru guru here in my household. Ask though and i will see what i can do.
