thanks for the reply's. i have the flywheel, stage 2 center force clutch all in my doner car. i am going for it. i just installed the weber carb..... wow what a difference ! anyone know where the vacuum line on the auto tranny went, it wont shift right.

hay everyone i just bought a 1984 Subaru Brat with a automatic tranny that is super clean, no t tops. . I also ordered a 4" lift from sjr a few days ago but i just realized i don't think i can lift it with a automatic tranny. can anyone give advice on this. i do have a 4 speed hi lo i can swap with the shifter extended but i don't think a can do the clutch swap. so can i use my automatic or do i have to swap it.

the only reason i say its a gl is because of the emblem on the rear of the tailgate, i have not bought it yet, i just found it it has been sitting in a driveway for a long time. i need to get a hold of the owner. my friend talked with him a while back and he said he would take a grand for it. that's as far as it went we never looked under the hood or opened any doors yet

ya this one is a gl but no fun tops, but NO rust also . its a auto. i have a tranny with hi low ,clutch ect, how hard is it to make it a manual .thay want 1000 for it. it is super super cleen !

I was wondering what the deal is on a brat that has no t tops, just a solid roof. was this a option ? i found a local brat that looks to be in very good shap but it has a solid roof. also where should i look for rust, i can seem to find any anywhere and i did look under the rocker panels. where does it like to hide ? thanks for the help. tharmal

ok i have all the picture , step bu step. they are on my buddies camera. i will get them up soon. we are going to do the fronts but first need to find shorter springs or cut the ea spring down a bit. we got at least 3" lift

hay, we just put ea81 springs in our 99 outback struts and it works awesome ! anyone else try this ?
