ok so i had a lot of water in the distributor so i removed it, the whole thing. i then put it upside down to drain the water out................. we had to close the garage door and the car was in the way so i pushed it about 3 feet with the distributor out, now it wont start, did i mess up my moving the car with the distributor out ? help !

i removed the engine because i plan on installing new heads anyway. its all good ! ya i have a welder but have no idea how to use it ! thanks for all the help everyone

I live in Portland Oregon. i think i can weld new plates where it pulled out of the body, i will try to get some pictures up. all 4 lift blocks pulled loose, 3 pulled out of the body and 1 is still on the cross member ! merry Christmas ?? welll i did get a awesome tool set of tools for a gift so i can work on it now. i just took out the engine and trans today ! now i can really see whats going on.

i had a chance to look at it a little better, it looks like the blocks are still on the frame but the part that bolts to the other side of the blocks tore out. sorry i am new :confused:but learning every day.... what part do you think it is ?

my wife just got home after a trip to the store and she says the whole car is shaking and it wont shift. i look under the car and where the 2 front lift blocks are attached to some plate broke off on both sides ! the tranny in at a angle now and a large piece of metal is hanging down on both side's where the mounts used to hold it up. its 17 and snowing out and dark so i cant get a real good look at it, what t do you thin k it could be ?

I have a mad max/army lookin paint job on my wagon. 4" lift front and rear, rancho rear shocks,it has a roof rack,with a tire mounted on top , high lift jack mounted on top ax mounted on top , rack net,light mounts,Jerry gas can mounted to rear bumper ,front skid plate,off road lights on the push bar and on the roof rack, warn 9000 lb hitch mounted winch, front and rear winch mounts,overhead backup lights, diamond plate rocker panels, 30" super swampers,custom rear and front bumpers,and monster teeth stainless steel front grill . i know of a guy in oregon that has 2 duel carb mainifolds with bing carbs on them.... 100.00 each !!

Ram Engines makes duel port heads for the ea81 ? did i hear that correct ? no way !!! how much are they ?

So i have some free time and extra money so i want to build a kick rump roast off road engine to put in my 83 wagon. I will post pictures all the way through the build and was hoping for some input, tips, ideas ect...... I will start with a ea81 engine from b&r junkyard, they want 275.00 delivered to my door for a running ea81. I have all the supplies to make the carbon fiber manifold and after i get the heads off and cam out i will be sending them to delta cams to get the head work and cam work done. delta says i should not go 0.40 on the heads, but i want too !! what do you think.... any input on any other upgrades i can do. thanks !
