Anyone attempted or know anything about adding a tranny cooler to the 3AT??? I would like to do so, but I'm unsure if there are any tranny lines to tap into?

Project GL-10 Website up!

yeah most people dont know how or bother to take the time to properly adjust them, so they do blnid the hell out of other drivers, but I allways properly adjust mine to a safe level. HID lights provide near 20times the output of regular halogen's. -
Project GL-10 Website up!

Well actually I can get em for $330/kit which includes everything, I got em for myself for a little less than that, and they were origionally on my 90 Acura Legend, but a girl doing 40mph fixed that car pretty well if ya know what I mean, so while I'm repairing that car I decided to throw em on the GL-10 since the Socket Style was the same as the Legend (9004) I'm very impressed with the results, and I'm gonna keep em on there -
Here you go guys, my website I'm dedicating my project to : http://subaru.purehardware.com There you can find all the details on my GL-10, mods, how-to's, video's and sounds and much more! I'll keep it updated

Thanks for all the replies, the dash kit was NOT an easy one to find, I got the last one in the Portland Metro Area since they stopped making the kit years ago and is a special order only and even then he said he had no idea when I could get it. If you must have one goto Stereo King in portland on 82nd ave. They can order you one but it might take a few weeks. I just ordered a manual boost controller, 2 gauge a-piller POD, and a Boost Gauge, for my attempt to raise the boost a bit. I plan on redoing the exhaust with 2-inch stainless piping and fitting a high flow cat in place of the stock unit, then I'm planning on a APEX N1 Race Muffler. I'm workin on modifying the air box right now with a cone filter and some kind of box to sheild the filter from HOT underhood air and dirt, I want to vent it to the fendor. I'm making a website for the car so everyone can track the progress of the project.

It pounds hard enough to give me a headache/earache if I keep it up The subs I got a killer deal on, $65.00 each at a local place on clearance The amp I got awhile ago for $200. They can be had for less than that now, VERY good amp pushes more than advertised power rating and never shuts off under 100% load, I have it running at 2ohm right now but I've run it at 1ohm just fine, never quit. The headunit is ok and sounds good, but nothing like my Alpine CDA-9815 that I have in my Legend

I would except the Loyale is 2WD If I could find a 5-speed 4WD tranny for the Turbo I would do it.

ahhh I see it now, wow thats a huge resonator! After driving around all day with the muffler removed I love it! I also got some more air into the air box, I'm noticing a slight increase in mid-range power The sound is perfect too, not too loud at all, nice and deep growl. I just got done installing my HID Headlight kit and putting my stereo system in. I'll post some pics soon so you guys can check it out.

Thanks, I looked under there and didnt see much except a CAT in the middle of the car and up by the turbo some kind of huge bulky CAT looking thing that says SUBARU on it with lots of heat sheilding, I'm going to look some more later on. Thanks

Hey guys, I just stumbled onto this site and wow I must say I'm impressed with the MOD's being done to the old SUUBIE!!!!!! Rock on! Anyhow I have 2 Suubie's of my own : 87 GL-10 Sedan Turbo 3AT <--my fav 92 Loyale Sedan 5-speed I'm very interested in doing some MOD's to the Turbo after reading all the stuff on this site! I just removed the stock muffler today but I barly notice any sound difference and its not loud at all???? Is there a secondary muffler? Also I was reading about the MBC and Fuel Cut Problems, and some MOD to fix the fuel cut, can somone point me in the right direction? I wanna run around 10-12psi of boost on pump gas, I plan on doing a high flow exhaust and intake setup along with a lower temp thermostat to help cool things down. My 3AT only has 60k miles on it and was just recently put in (replaced the origional 102k unit that had a front diff failure) How do you think a good condition and well maintained 3AT would hold up to some more power? Thanks in advance.
