finally pics of my 84GL
It does look pretty good. I have 235 75 15's on mine and i wish it looked that good. It doesnt look terrible but it doesnt look as natural as that.

What engines have you squeezed in your rig?( aftermarket/non stock motors)

How big of a tire can i fit on a stock ea82 wagon 4x4
Its not hard to turn unless you are doing some trail rides/climbing rough terrain. Mine turns fine but it doesnt go into anything serious. If you want 235's and are doing some serious offroading then you will need a four inch lift.

I stuffed some 235-75-15's. cant turn for crap unless you lift it atleast two inches.

i was hopin the rust would fall out. just kiddin. it shot craps on me today anyway. we got a foot of snow(still snowin) today and i got a flat then the car wouldnt start. the battery is dead and the valve stem is leaking. its too cold to do anything right now. I was able to drive through the snow with only three good tires with no problem before the battery died. here are a few pics of the snow. the pic with the of the house the brick ledge is about 3 foot tall. thats drifted onto the house so far. im gonna have fun after work.

lift pics
cut them for what? Im not goin on any off road trails. Ill be in slick spots at the most. I think a two inch lifts is perfect for the rust bucket. If i were to go do some serious off roadin id put a smaller tire on but since ill be on muddy road/ fields i think it will do just fine.

im not gonna be doing anything like you guys do with your subarus. Mine will see at the most just some slick spots. Im just gonna use it for a fishing buggy. Two inches will be plenty with what i need. In the pics the back of the car isnt lifted. The front has full turning radius no rub. Im not going trail riding with it so i think it will do just fine. I see what you are all saying and i appriciate the advice. The most the car will see is farm access roads and maybe some muddy fields but thats about it.

lift pics
Well I got the front lifted two inches. I changed wheels to a chevy steel wheel the others were to wide. I havent got the lift in the back. I'll get that done tonight. Just thought I'd show a few pics. Thats a 235 75 15 on there. I had to cut some of the front of the fenders and some of the back of the fenders. May need to bash a little more.

4 inch lift
I have seen alot of neat stuff on here. I never had any intention to do anything to my subaru until i found this site. since then i have been dying to get my loyale in the air. Super excited to get it lifted. I cant wait so post some pics of it covered in mud. I appreciate all the information being passed around. As long as this site is running ill be lookin up info on here. Everyone on here has a vast knowledge of subaru's and how to beef them up. Without this site id still be driving on 13's. Anyway thanks for all the info on everything subaru. Awesome site.

Biggest tires i can run on my stock 96' legacy?
Dont get me wrong i had to cut the front and back edge of the fenders with a lil bit of hammering. U cant just slap on a 235 and do nothing else. i hope this goes to the pics. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=118642 The tires are baldining tires as pointed out. Remember that there is no lift on this car. wouldnt be a good idea to put good tires on it...

4 inch lift
Ill prolly be out in the shop building the lift to get away from family. P.S. I wasnt tryin to get anything stirred up. I completly understand. This is a great site with a ton of information.

question
I used a hand sledge, a center punch, a brass punch, a drill press, two drill bits one small and one close to the size of the lug stud. Then i used a reamer to finish off the size of the lug stud holes. Plus whatever tools it takes to get you wheel and you hub off.19mm in impact socket, impact, 24 mm socket for the castle nuts on the hubs.(i think thats what size they were) and a pair of pliers to pull out the cotter pins on the castlenuts on the hubs
