Was able to go today to the salvage yard . Found something from a 2007-08 Accent . Clock sits between the 4 Way flashers and rear window Defrost switches. The wiring instructions are marked on the back of the clock next to the plug , later tonight I will take the filler panel out from under the radio and see what I can design .

Well , we finally got to see the Legacy , it is a 2001 not 2002, looks great , checked for all the issues that people mentioned. All good . Here is what we found. Peeling clear coat. Maroon . Non issue for my buddy. Needs tires for winter. A/C doesn't work , but a/c light on dash does . Thats about it. Felt low mileage ,has 220,000 kms , my guess driven on the highway mostly.. So how do I check to see if the compressor will click on ? That's my big concern for this car at the moment . The auto trans worked good , no hesitation on going in R or D . thanks for the help

The heat sheilds were also loose on my Impreza . All you need is some good stainless steel hose clamps, from a parts store , then fasten them snug . Try to keep the gear tightening part up , so as not to snag road debris . Good luck P.S. stainless clamps last a long time , had one on my Ford Bronco II for 5 years....

Hi Folks , My bubby is looking to buy a 2002 Legacy wagon , auto , AWD . Don't know the mileage . What should he be looking at as far as potential problems are concerned ? We know about the dreaded torque bind and the oil leaks . We are going to look at it this comming week . Is there anything special we should focus on ? Thanks.

When I pulled the door pad off , there was rust on the lock pivot and the locking locking mechanism rod was bent . Almost looks as if door was replaced. Cleaned it and greased it . Checked wiring with a meter , good connection too . Cleaned and greased all the rest of the doors and hatch. All the locks work 100% . thanks Josh , on the tip about the rod , saved me a lot of time on that

96 Impreza 2.2l auto a/c awd wagon.. I have one power door lock . When you use the drivers door Key lock to Unlock , 4 including the hatch/tailgate move right away , but the one on the rt rear door has a 1-2 sec delay , then moves .This happens every time. At least of the time we noticed . Pulling the door panel off today. The only door power door lock is with the key on the drivers door , none inside . Any thoughts or ideas will help . Thanks:-\

We run Michelin Harmony on our Acclaim but use Michelin Alpins in winter We run Goodyear Assurance on the Neon but Dunlap Graspic DS1 winters On the Impreza , the Eagles we were running had a broken belt so we switched to BFG Traction TA for summer and a winter Goodyear Winter ST2 snow /mud. I agree with fairtax4me about the TA's , but how much snow/mud do you have to deal with , and for how many months ?
