  1. these dudes know what's up. I'm running a "gary's special" rear driveshaft in my xt6 right now
  2. their electrical system would cause too many issues. not a possibility at all. <edit> clean the grounds! I'm sure that's the problem

yeah!! that guy got a couple of reruns because he didn't trip the timer a couple of times, iirc also he had some badass hoosier slicks on all 4 corners and what sounded like an open exhaust he was leaking coolant at one point though

well I went and it was cool  here are some pics: http://www.photostockplus.com/home.php?tmpl=35&user_id=24379&action=viewalbum&event=116665 I will try to get video up soon official times aren't up yet but I ran in the "novice" class anyway as it was my first autox the XT6 seemed to do VERY well, with the exception of no power steering at the time

going to try and hit up an autox on sunday in vermont http://www.sugarbush.com/funandevents/event.asp?id=395 but first I need to swap my driveshaft, fix my coolant temp sensor, change the oil, and rebuild or replace the alternator...
  6. what the hell are you doing with an airplane? that isn't something you can just throw into a thread and not elaborate on or give pics
  7. tires on the yota are ~29" all terrains. I drove it out of the pit down a trail to the road, up a hill to the driveway. the driveway is pretty gnarly and my xt6 won't make it up it because there are some pretty uneven spots and larger rocks sticking up
  8. is it stick or auto? my girlfriend could drive it on the way back but she can't drive a stick no way to do it otherwise as my xt6 is stick too and she can't drive that, and I'm not driving a truck to the dragon edit: or you can squeeze your rump roast in the back seat of the xt6 and ride down with me
  9. crap, can't edit, but I smashed up one of those ugly chrome lights when I was loading the truck up with dad's tractor oops
  10. monday and tuesday I moved four loads of dirt to fill in where my driveway is going to be... the yota loved it! wouldn't be able to do this in a subaru without chopping the top off a wagon and doubling up the rear struts
  11. hell yes the weekend of june 1st we went to our camp for my brother's bachelor party. it's 20 miles back on a private dirt road. The night before we went my girlfriend and I stayed in a tent on some of her mom's land in the foothills of the adirondacks the rest of the pics and some movies are here http://nnyoffroad.com/~dertow/outside/6-1-2007/100NIKON/ while we were at camp we loaded the back of the toyota up with rocks and built a fire pit back at camp. unfortunately we were a little and I forgot to take pics of it sagging. yesterday I split up a cord of wood and moved it across the property with the toyota. THANK YOU PICKUP TRUCK the legacy would've sucked for this stuff
  12. situation dictates action
  13. I can't afford that right now, but thumbs up to those that can. mine will be a diesel running backwoods biodiesel a buddy makes and will sell me for $1.40/gallon
  14. yep that's why when I put the flatbed on it will be a FUNCTIONAL flatbed  this truck made the 600 mile round trip to go pick up the solid axle for the front, and a bunch of parts for my friend's truck. plus I can haul my 4wheeler in it
