  1. How much are you looking to get for the 94 SS?

  2. Do you still have the RX for sale?

  3. so ecu, cai intake, port-polish heads, full exhaust. think 200hp is attainable?
  4. which while a pain in the arse would most likely be done if you've got the carpet out anyways. What kind of horsepower can you get out of a stock ej22 with out forced induction and on a $1000 budget?
  5. that's 230lbs for those on this side of the pond. not too shabby
  6. anyone have a ball park figure on how much weight you lose by ditching the interior?
  7. I've done a little racing taken a school so i consider myself a better than average driver but as with anything there's always room for improvement. why did you go with 2wd struts? and is this principal the same for legacy's?
  8. nice cars guys, i'm thinking i might go this direction with my legacy. what have you done to your suspensions, engines etc.?
  9. I know how popular these cars are for off road racing but what about on road? There was a blue rx at richie's place that looked like it was ready to hit PIR. Why aren't more people making they're cars capable of smoking all the honda's and miata's on the road course? I'm not talking about STi's and WRX's I'd like to see a RX like the blue one mentioned above, or a 90-94 legacy. Anyone have one of these?
  10. sorry no it's a sedan but, for anyone else just fyi the grey cloth interior is near mint.
  11. My 1991 Subaru Legacy L "misty dawn" with only 133k on the clock is no more. She was viscously sideswiped a few days ago destroying the front bumper, corner marker, turn signal, and rearranging the driver side headlight. Sad news right? Well dry those tears kids, she'll be transformed into a rally car what better way to spend the insurance money right. Oh, and if anyone is in need of interior bits let me know what you need 'cause i'll probably be getting rid of it.
  12. Just picked up my newest soob, a 1991 legacy 125k 5spd awd. I have to say I'm glad to have a subaru again
  13. Bought this for a thing I'm doing. (check off topic for details) 1976 Ford Mustang II Cobra 302 4bbl C4 Trans (there'll be some good pics of that soon) thinking about painting it to match the yellow cars in Mad Max
  14. i managed to open my 86 gl door with my gf's 97 impreza key. use a light pressure in the direction of "unlock" and slide the key in and out until it opens. takes a little practice but you'll eventually get it.
  15. forgot to mention when I got the car it was without an air filter. Now, having replaced it, it runs worse. When I take it out seems to run a bit better.
  16. Just picked up an old wagon wasn't running the best now seems to be worse. changed plugs, wires, cap & rotor, new air filter, changed the oil, and cleaned the maf. (with MAF cleaner) It idles and revs just fine, though under load it stumbles and sputters. The check engine light comes on after a while but I don't know where to plug in and see what it's saying. Any help would be fantastic.
  17. so if I've been reading this correctly, the stock N/A legacy tranny will hold up to the ej22t? I know this is a little off topic (sorry). I'm really curious to see how this project pans out.
  18. I doubt the radiators were different between auto and manual's (I don't know this for a fact, someone with more experience will chime in.) I agree with jrett, when it comes to things like fans: K.I.S.S.
  19. My heard: 1976 Kawasaki KZ400 1967 Triumph T100c 1986 Yamaha 80 (scooter) 1981 Kawasaki KZ440 LTD 197? Honda CR1?? most of them are in various states of (dis)repair but the KZ400 is rideable and i've converted it into a cafe racer of sorts
  20. i had the chance to drive a '79 911sc. awesome car, very fast the two things i didn't like about it were the heavy steering and the vauge feeling i got from the gearbox but i think thats because 1: its based off a vw transaxle and 2: the linkage had to be pretty long. I also considered a 944 i had my mechanic friend look up how long it takes to do a timing belt which has to be done ever 30-45K!!!! and it was 5 hours! that was the major deciding point needless to say i passed. IMO it'd be a good 2nd car one to goof off with. If you have the money to dump into it that is.
  21. i look forward to hearing how your tranny holds up turbone, and also how you figured out the clutch situation.
  22. This'll be quick as I'm on lunch and don't have too much time. Will the stock RX tranny hold up against an EJ22t or will it need to be replaced with something stronger? Thanks for any insight into this.
  23. very nice! hopefully by that time i'll have something to run
