I found that i can fit 215/70(possibly 75)R15 tires on my 96 Legacy LS without putting a lift or different suspension. For those of you who have moded your Brats or Legacys, if there anything needed to do as far as Power Steering Pump, Tie Rods, or Axles? Perhaps getting beefier ones? or will the stock stuff be fine to handle the bigger wheels

So, i was bored at work today and decided to see what the biggest tire size is that will fit on my 96 legacy. Stock is 196/60R15 (LS model) and the biggest i could get to, without a lift or rubbing on anything, is 215/70R15!!! Quite a difference, and boy did it look odd. I'm wondering how it would drive with that big of tires on...:-\

The light that illuminates my AC/Heater vent buttons, as well as the fan knob slowly dimmed away to nothingness. Is there anyway to replace this bulb, or is it some kind of LED, or do i have to buy a new unit??????? Anyone - help??? (and no, i didn't turn the dimmer switch down without noticing. The speedo light works fine) 96- Legacy LS

I'd recomend that you go to a dealership and ask what the requirements are to work there, and if they tell you that you need to be certified in Subaru, then ask where the most common place in the area is that their techs go to
