mine just went also , on my 88 turbo fulltime 4wd a/t wagon , leaking pretty good at the bottom , and we just had 3-4 in of snow , sooooo it's back to the 86 fwd a/t sedan :so my point is just by a new one , :banghead:

are you sure it is the fuel pump, ? if iam right it is on the passanger side , right in front of the right rear tire [ outside] very easy to replace , advance auto says 100 bucks ,auto zone 200 bucks :wave:

i was working on it today i put it into 4wd and all the lights came on [ the picture of the car w/ 4 wheels] the low light also , so there might be a short in a wire around the console lever:wave:

just received a 1954 packard , will not start :banana:

but tranny is out again, also rear diff, ,because i could not get a title for the car ,

it might be kinda strange , or some people might think i am some kind of freek , but i have even went to peoples homes saw a nice subaru sitting there and went up to the door, the xt i found sitting in a shop [lot] and the owner almost gave it to me, because it had a bad tranny , but everything else is nice :wave:

it's the light that tells you your in 4wd , which is on the dash lo-hi and a picture of a car and telling you are in 4wd , mine only says low , the 4wd works just fine , i was wondering where might be the problem , when i first bought it everything worked just fine , thanks :wave:

i have a 88 manual 4wd wagon w/ 180,000mi , the 4wd works good, but the lo light only comes on , no 4wd hi or even the light on the dash it is also a gl , i think a type of plug on the tranny or around the shifter ? thanks :cornfuzz:

i do the same thing , leave notes on the windshield or even go up to the door and ask them ,is it for sale , 1 time i broke down right in front of a guys house , and he had 2 subaru's which in 2 months i bought them both . :wave:

on my 86 a/t spfi fwd sedan 75,000 mi 23 city - 28-29 highway , my 88 full time 4wd a/t wagon so far - 21 city .not sure what highway would get . :wave:

why do you look down on miles fox ? i am sure you were just a perfect boy ?? i have never meet you , i have meet miles fox and in my opinion he knows his stuff , and uses what he has , same with me no air tools etc... and use what i have , it's ashame we just can;t get along pick pick pick DUDE :

how bad is the 4wd wagon ? as far as rust ? interior ? milage? :wave:

i think with the 2000 and up the timming belts last 90- 100,000 mi , check and see if the headgaskets were replaced , becuse it is a common problem , :wave:
