  1. the best mod was the exhaust . free flow all the way back , no center cat, turbo muffler , no big fat cat, 2in pipe , aleast 2-3 mpg more , cooler on the temp gauge also , but when you bump up the timming you loose alittle mpg , so i may turn it back , my wife drives it most and she said aleast 20% more hp great improvement
  2. to nice , needs more rust , different color fenders , i have 88 gl 4wd manual wagon that could be a trashwagon very easy , buy hey it will make a good work car :banana:

  6. i bypassed the core with about 8in of hose , did not seem to over heat , thanks for all the help , and did a search and know just about what to do
  7. i agree with john , for 500 bucks seems like a good deal , i have a 88 turbo full time 4wd gl-10 w/ 84,000mi a/t and i gave a few dollars more + another gl 4wd manual wagon
  8. ok, thanks skip , it is leaking so bad that it is leaking fron the floor board onto the garage floor , the whole drivers side carpet is soaked

  12. it is a 86 spfi fwd a/t sedan 75,000mi , the whole floor on the drivers side is wet with antifreeze and some on the passanger side , is this the heater core gone bad ? or could it be a loose hose around the firewall ? any help ? thanks
  13. if you decide to increase hp which i think it does, 8mm wires, ngk plugs , accell coil, k-n filter ,air box mod, cut out center cat if you can, gap plugs at ..45.or .47 .which i did to my 88turbo a/t full time 4wd wagon and it did increase hp
  14. this is why i do not post questions anymore , it is better to ask questions before , doing something , not all of us aleast me knows everthing , i work 12-13 hr days so i do not have all day to work on subaru's ,also skip you are a moderator , next some one will tell me how to drive a semi ,

  16. it is a 88 a/t turbo wagon , it only happans after you warm it up and drive it ,and shut it off and then turn it back on , will try all things suggested
  17. last night we put in new 8mm wires , gaped the plugs .50 and a new acell coil , but now it is a real slow idle , i runs better , but i did not have this problem before , any help ??thanks
  18. my hi speed of the wipers does not work at all, replaced the switch , replaced the wiper motor , what else could it be ? it is 88 full time 4wd a/t wagon turbo ,
  19. well finally got it started , after cranking and cranking , and drove it 20mi , i parked it and i will see in the morning , after doing some searching and reading i might see the problem ,
  20. i did a search , it ran fine until i drove it to work last week , and it would not start , good battery ,full tank of fuel , it finally started up ,drove it home and tried to start it the next morning no go, it seems like it is not getting spark, it also is 0 outside , any help ? thanks
