  1. i think with the 2000 and up the timming belts last 90- 100,000 mi , check and see if the headgaskets were replaced , becuse it is a common problem , :wave:
  2. ok, thanks ,the car has 180,000 mi ,new clutch, timming belts, water pump, seals, gaskets, fender, hood put back on, so it needed some work ,thanks again :wave:
  3. on my 88 gl manual 4wd wagon it seems like there is no power steering , pretty tight , has it gone bad ? thanks for the help :wave:
  4. yes we did the x pattern , we did not bleed the master cylinder , how is this done ? :wave:

  6. i have a bad tick but only when it gets cold outside below 20 degrees , the gauge reads good cold or hot outside :wave:
  7. mine does the same thing 86 spfi a/t fwd sedan , the colder it gets the longer it lasts , but none of my other spfi motors does this , lucas may help yours or x1r which can be found at napa , :wave:
  8. i think it is a 19mm , it screws in , right behind the thottle body ,
  9. ok, me and miles fox swapped out the rear disc brakes from a 88 xt onto a 88 4wd manual gl wagon, we put on new pads rotors were good , and we bleed the brakes twice good pressure , why are the brakes still low ? and only the front brakes are grabbing ?
  10. well as long as the body is good, and you can do the work your self, i bought a fwd a/t gl-10 turbo wagon for 60 bucks and it needed a headgasket , a full kit at napa was 275 bucks , but there must be 100 gaskets in the box, just my 2 cents :wave:
  11. also the car sat for 6 months without a hood , and aleast another 6 months just sitting . :
