  2. how can we convert to a hydraulic clutch? I've never heard of somebody doing this and was thinking about it the other day when my clutch cable snapped.
  3. whats sizes are you offering?
  4. could be the oil, maybe its too thin
  5. I replaced the water pump.
  6. I change it when it gets darker than I like, don't really off road it much (long story as to why)
  7. I go in to Napa to get an oil filter for my hatch and the guy gives me a WIX. these are good, right?
  8. I'm kind of scared to ask, but whats the plan for this one, there Shawn?
  9. it had a 180 in it before. but I'll try another one. did you notice any diffrence in how it performed with the 192 in it? anybody know if they make a 190 for our cars?
  10. whats the condition on this? does it run?
  11. so is this a weak elec. system or normal
  12. but, is this too cold? and it takes a while for heat.
  13. Oh, its the blue one. that one was nice
  14. it had a 180 in it before and that one opened at about 175 if I remember correctly (I tested it in a pot of hot water with a meat thermoitor(sp)) and ya I have heat pretty good heat after a while which is why I say its just not heating up fast enough. and the temp sender is brand new and I've had a manual gauge on it and it did the same thing. and I thought about the cardboard trick but wasn't sure about it. and you can can try my yahoo mail one if you want its justin_shahan@yahoo.com if not could you host it on the board and when I look at it you could delete it.
  15. so would air in the system keep it from heating up?
  16. ok, I think I have a bad ground or something in my hatch. when I turn on my rear defrost the volt gauge goes down slowly and stops at about 12-13 volts and no amount of reving will bring it back up. thats only with that and the radio and the engine runing, if I have the the headlights and stuff on like this mourning the volts ran about 12 or so all the way to work and when I got there I turned off the rear defrost and it came back up. and the bottom three or four and about two lines down for the top don't work, but the rest do I checked the grid with a test light and there getting power but not doing anything. what should I look for? (and yes for those wondering I have been driving it a lot lately)
  17. Ok, in my hatch I'm having a problem with it not warming up, all the way. unless it sits for a while. I replaced the rad hoses, thermostat(180), water pump, heater hoses, and the coolant(or anti-freeze). I noticed that I have no heat until like half way home (bout 7 miles or so) at which point the gauge is at the middle of the C. when I get home it might be at the top of the C if I'm lucky. when I let it heat up too the middle of the gauge the fan turns on and it cools down. ok so whats wrong? and what can I do to fix it?
  18. dude that looks good but you should get some front shots of it
  19. I think its a good idea, just don't have the money right now to do it in my hatch
