  1. ya I know that. I'm going to cut it out come spring I just need to stop it now so I don't have to cut in to the car when I do. I don't want to cut it out until I can weld some more in it
  2. how would I know whitch PP will do that? and thats not the one I was talking about this one was like 300 if I remember right. whitch I hope I do
  3. bump so do ya'll think one of those rust inhibiting spray paints work or not
  4. bump come on guys a real answer would be nice. or atleast some specs on it
  5. wait a minute you have the XT6 PP on an EA-81 with the 4SPD D/R? and the only thing you did was swap out the flywheel?
  6. does anybody have the link for that? I thought I had it but I don't.
  7. casue it a manual, and the SVX is a grand touring car not a sports car.
  8. I dunno guys they had big plans for the XT6 they might have built it that tough. but I think somebody should try it out though.
  9. the rust is in front of the rear tires on the wheel well. so I don't think the foam trick will help me. I plan on cutting out the rust welding in new pieces and then sanding down the whole car and re-painting it. I just want to make it stop until I can do that in the spring
  10. ok the rust on my car has gotten worse since the last time I looked at it (bout two months ago) so if I get some rust Prohibitive spray paint do ya'll think it will last until spring time when I go to cut it out and fix it? and what about that por-15 stuff would that last long enough to stop this stuff form spreading more than it has now?
  11. I think Chef Tim did it. but I'm not sure I'd like to do it though
  12. so it just droped right in? I got to thinking about this today at work and was going to make a thread about it then I saw this one.
  13. sorry, I was editing. if I don't have all three on its fine. it reads about 14 or so. hmmm my battery thats real old, do ya'll think that would help any?
  14. ok, so when I put on my head lights, rear defroster, and turn on the blower motor in my hatch the volt gauge goes to 12, whats wrong? or is the normal. and when I turn my turn signals on it goes up and down(the volt gauge) now if I just have the head lights and either the rear defrost or the blower motor on it's not on 12 but still lower than normal.
  15. have you guys seen this stuff? is there a way to get this stuff now? this is the page I'm talking about http://ultimatesubaru.org/80s/projectrudy/rudy.html not all of the pics here have what I'm talking about but check the "swingback" and that coupe out.
  16. I didn't think about that:drunk: I was just kidding anyways in case you couldn't tell. but ya I think this is a great idea
  17. of the body kit for the ea-81's? I think they were made by a company called kammy or something like that? and if anybody has any pics of ea-81 series racing that would be cool too
  18. I lnstalled one in my hatch, and it reads any where from 50 to above 75 untill the temp needle gets on the gauge then it never reads above 75, even at 5k. it gets down to about 10-15 when warm though.
  19. why not just throw it on the hood with a bolt or something to hold it down? but ya I like his idea should look cool
  20. on a kind of related note you. did get my MO for the subrubacon vid, right? and this is what we need more positve storys about good business deals, not business deals gone bad.
  21. well, its not like I can afford to throw a clutch kit in there right now, or I would. how long does it usually take for these to sieze up? or is it just something that happends with no real timeline.
  22. ok, so what will happen when my throw out bearing goes out? (ya, its a bump)
