  4. haha someone just aked this same quistion two days ago. ill be doing the swap when my ej25 goes. much more reliable, youll feel no diffrence in loss of power people say. and the ej22 is non interference not like the ej25. waaaay better -Prwa AAE
  5. Well actually, I'm making an air locker for the r160 diffs. just getting one cut out now for testing in my rig. Should have them on the market in a couple months (hopefully) http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=132280&highlight=Locker -prwa AAE
  6. Personly and I'm pretty sure many others will agree, but the ej22 is much more reliable that the ej25. Ej22 are a non interference, meaning if you break a timming belt the heads arnt toast like the ej25. Little loss in power though. -Prwa AAE
  7. I have a 88 turbo gl, muffler that I'm not using anymore. Make me an offer? If you'll lookin -Prwa AAE
  8. LITTLE BORED TODAY waiting for that call back..... whatcha guys think?? http://aaengineerings.webs.com/ Prwa101 AAE
  9. Nope didnt think of that, im planning on going to upullit and gettting a rear diff from a 2000 outback i saw there the other day. and just go from there. All EA are 23 spline other than the turbo lol. im pretty sure there the same size in DIM or it wouldnt had been suggested to me by GD. haha and breaking wize the only other weakest link is the axles. ran my Locker through Simulation and it can pretty much hold up what ever its givin haha. UPDATE: i think ive found someone to make my locker! waiting on a reply!!
  10. Nice ride! Free is the best deal!
  11. The belts right, I thought the same thing when I did mine. Fallow this guys vid, very helpful. And make sure you fallow every step! And don't forget to "pre load" the belt before you start it. The vid will show you. good Luck! -Prwa AAE
  12. Hey than guys for the input on price! Going to try and keep it down, but still working on getting it made... But! On a new hand, after I get it testing, I'm going to be working on running a new application through it! 95+ axel stud swap, increasing axel streangth along with stud streangth. Not being hallow like the old style. Although it will require swap which is going to be more $$ for someone you. One reason why I'm making both apps, bolt in and clip in stubs. Cheaper Vs. not so cheaper. Prwa101 AAE:headbang:
  13. 14mm don't strip them there a pain in the *** to get off stripped. -Prwa
  14. Been looking around and tryin to find a price. Nothin yet. But it's going to be pushing 300$+ a unit. Nisan Spartens go for 340. And there a large company, so it's easy for then to make. Me it's going to be harder.... HOPFULLY this dosnt kill you guys... Sorry.. Still going to be hell of a product though!! -Prwa AAE
  15. yeah im working on finding a place to make them. the price of production will change the total cost for you guy. im working finding someone to make them. BBC dosnt make that kind of stuff.... If Oregon machining would pick up the phone.. haha
  16. How much are people looking to pay for my product?? oh and now its called the "AAE locker" Anderson, Architectural Engineering.
  17. Hmmm... what a place to show off my New IN PROGRESS AAE locker for my gl! mud pit sounds like fun!
  18. Going to keep it down as low as possible. How much are people looking to pay?? And yeah it's pretty much an old lunchbox locker srunk down to fit a R160
  19. For you, I'm going to give you the best deal I can when there done! I owe you, a lot! Youve helped me a lot through this project, along with giving me a used locker! Along with him, anyone who has helped me, like GD and mike, is going to get a major discount as well! It's the least I can do, I owe you guys for helping me out as much as you have!
  20. Well whatcha guys think? A working prototype?! Finished printing my errors out and fixing dimms. She's workin, looks like a call around is in order after classes for a steel product Price would depend on how much it's costs for me to have them be made. I'm going to try and keep costs down for my Subaru friends! I know how hard times can kill the wallet. Thanks guys!! -Prwa
  21. SWEEET!!! Keep it Growing!!
  22. Sweet! Glad to hear There's another man on bourd!
  23. Hey dude, it's pretty easy I did mine I have a 4" lift on my gl. Pretty much you just cut your stearing knuckle in half and weld a longer tube in between the cut for the exstention. Could Make on for you if you can't? -Prwa101 Get me at godslambs@aol.com Sence you cant pm.
  24. Haha thanks! And the prototype worked pretty good I have faith in the full product. Oh and it's going to get used a lot haha, and tested to its exstent. Just found out that solid works had a pre stress test system so I'm going to see what that says.
  25. Hey thanks guys! Yeah patenting it isn't going to work, to many simmaler things to them.. And it is slightly a copy remoded... Yeah that patent page about the locker said it all. Although! The one thing I could patrent! Is the insides what you guys havnt seen! how I have it set to up addapt to the bolt in stubs. haha. Took me the most time to come up with something that worked, and it does! But prolly won't waste my money doing that either. Well it's cool, I've already figured out how I'm going to sell them. You pretty much just paying for my solid works services, for a product. And haha. Yeah I don't think I'll be giving out any files to anyone. Haha. I dont like my files floting around.. There's ways to get around selling things Parking lot style. Haha. I'll get a working prototype pic up soon! It's looking pretty awsome!
