correction, VLSD* is what im going to draw up. so can the VLSD swap out the guts for a standard ea82 diff guts? say if i were to make the guts for a VlSD would i beable to swap it into an standerd diff?

mk so i got this crazy idea of mocking up a lsd for class becuase ive pretty much finished all my other projects. sooo couple Qs Any one have any pictures of what makes it LSD the mechanics anyways? would it be possible to swap the part that makes it LSD into a standard Subaru Diff, to make it LSD? i think i can get my hands on a broken one from my freind not sure yet. thanks guys! dude tell me about it! im drooling at the thought of this in my GL! i wonder if the EA tranny could take that much torque and power with out any problems? i want to see the back of the motor so i can take specs and make an adapter plate for it!

Im pretty sure You could go with a 2" suspention lift. More than 2" your going to have to drop the subframe, Tranny mounts am such. One eye on here has some really good stuff on lifts. 4" lift is pretty common. 3 at the frame, an 4 at the struts. -Prwa

Mk so pretty much the hole water system was replaced. Well the only other thing I can think of is a blown headgasket from I between the cyl and te water jackets. (causing pressure in the water system). Bubbles under the rad cap when its on? Did it get hot before you replaced all this stuff?

Water pump belts look fine? When was the last water pump done?

New or used?

Are you saying coolant is over flowing out of the Radiator overflow tank? Just had the same thing happend to my fiancés car this last summer, the Rad was clogged. New ones go for 120ish$ Is it over heating too? Comp I don't think would tell you much being that old, unless the cel is on.

My 2000 forester popped the same codes, o2 and catty. i ran it a while like that then it started to buck (really sucks). id swap the o2 out it its poping o2 code.

Damn that's a pretty good budget! I got my 154 pease set for 99$ from Kmart. I've I ly had to buy a few sockets like 32 and 36mm which it didn't have. Have had a problem with it, other than break ratchets lol. But life time warrantee! For 300$ you could but a pretty BA set from sears. There 20% coupons floating around too Good luck!
