I still have my 96 Outback. For my delivery business I have a 99 Dodge Grand Caravan AWD. I'm looking to move up to a full size cargo van.

I'd only pay that price if it was 4wheel drive. I have no interest in 2 wheel dive so If that was the case, I'd walk away. It doesn't say which window has a chip (I like that description, tempered glass breaks when chipped) but the front passenger window is either rolled down or broken. The door windows are a bit of a pain to replace considering the attachments on the glass and trying to get them in the door with the narrow opening but once in they just bolt to the regulator and then align it to the proper position when closed.

The vent visors for the 3rd gen will work. I have them on my 96 OB. Mine were from Amazon.

I'm not certain how good my transmission is. The shifter is tight, but I get grinding going into reverse. The bigger problem is recently I had a clutch put in and a couple days later I was smelling something burning. I checked the fluids and the nothing was touching the tranny dipstick. So I added some and still nothing, I ended up putting a quart of gl5 80-90 gear oil in to bring it up to full. I was hearing some scraping grinding noise when coming to a stop. Also at low speeds, when turning into a parking space, I would get little jerking on the steering wheel like when an auto trans would do with a bad duty c. I called the guy who put the clutch in and he said it must have already been bad. Do you think I should just change the center dif and change the gear oil it would be ok?

I have a 96 OB 2.2 5mt (cable linkage) that has a bad center dif. I'm going to be replacing the transmission.I was just at a junk yard and there are 2 OB with hydralic linkage manual trans, a 97 OB and a 98 OB. Can I use a hydraulic type trans and swap parts to make it stay cable type.

My 96 OB 2.2 5mt through a code 1101, Neutral Position Switch Circuit Malfunction(MT). How imortant is it I get this fixed right away. Can it wait till the weekend.

You're right, they did decrease the size of the rear sway bar, I did a google search. Looks like the '09 Sti 19mm is a good replacement per this article http://tinyurl.com/knrg4ag

I thought Outbacks came factory with 18mm, at least my 96 did.

I didn't think it had one, when the weather warms up we'll try to get it running. My brother wants the motor for his other Loyale with 300K miles. This one has 112K.

It was hit on the front right corner and the car was spun around and hit again between the rear right tire and the gas door.

Today I totaled my brothers 91 Loyale. I doesn't start. the cops that did the accident report were asking if I new where the fuel reset button was. I told them I didn't think it had one. Does it have one and if so, where is it.

Your torque converter is not locking up. Check the tranny fluid, see if it is clean and is up to level with the car at operating temp and on level ground. Could also be an electrical issue, or a faulty torque converter clutch solenoid valve.

The 2.5 DOHC is an interferance engine.
